“The room simulations are not at all what I expected. To few profiles and all a bit weird sounding. Not very useful in my opinion. The systemwide app is not as stable as the reference 4 app, it crashes and is not great together with Logic, so sadly I’m staying with reference 4!”

Hello, Thank you for the review! The Virtual Monitoring Add-on is a new feature within SoundID Reference that will provide more customization options in the future. Currently, it is great for people who are using only Headphones and if you are traveling perhaps. It allows you to bring a studio environment on the go! “The website contains clearly written information. The overall website experience is straight to the point. It is easy to find your way around the website. After buying the SoundID Reference software from Sonarworks, they will give a very clear step-by-step walkthrough of how to install and use the software after downloading it straight away. Also, they are giving you a 30-day trial to try out the SoundID software. Within a few days, I was already sold with the software and decided to buy the software with the Black Friday discount. Within a couple of seconds/minutes, the license key was available to copy and paste into the software and the rest is history. Great service!”

“It's a very good product. Be aware that it takes a while to set up and you will "bear" all sorts of frequencies. I had some trouble setting up, but the support team is really helpful.”

“The curves applied to my speakers have been very helpful...my mixes are translating much better. I was hoping to use the Systemwide App across all the outputs of my computer, but as I'm running Mac Catalina, the new version of SW isn't working...hopefully this will be addressed soon. But even on the master bus of my session this is great for now. Interestingly, i was using ARC 3, and the reference mics of each system shot a different profile...I prefer SW - less flattering while listening, but translating better, which is what we're going for after all.”
