“Have used SoundID Reference from the day it was released, and now use the Virtual Monitoring add-on. After decades using large studios, with large expenses to match, here we have an 'equivalent' that prepares my work well for the Mastering Studio, and the results are simply fantastic. What a confidence builder Sonarworks have given us all.”

“It’s not easy to come up with any issue I might have had when shopping. Only thing that comes to mind - I feel like it takes too many clicks to get to the page where you can purchase SoundID, most companies that offer iconic plugins/audio tools like yours present them in such a way it takes very little effort to make a purchase. Same thing with educational license but that’s pretty standard in this industry. Overall my experience was really good. It’s great that I was able to get an educational discount very quickly. I have and I will keep recommending Sonarworks to my friends”

“I had a great experience with Sonarworks. The website was easy to navigate, and I quickly found all the info I needed before and after my purchase. The Support Centre was responsive and helpful when I had a question. My only suggestion would be to add more video tutorials. Overall, highly recommended!”

“The shopping experience has been hassle free. The installation information provided was accurate and I did not have any issue in installing it . The UI is well designed and are selfexplanatory. Hence no hassle so far. The product is awesome and my mixes are much better now. It would be great, if hearing compensation can be integrated with the product. We who mix with headphones mostly, after years find our hearing bit skewed. Any innovation in this area would mean a lot to the customer base that the product is targetted at. Congratulations to team once again for this brilliant product.”

“Installed the demo, and used in VST plugin, boom! my two headphones, completly differents, one close and one open, sound so similar, resetting all anomalies. Buyed the complete plugin and installed in my Merging Anubis interface in HP 1 and HP2 outs, so now don't worry to remember to install in my Sequoia DAW. I'll try for the main monitor too in future.”

“Love Sonarworks! I've used their software for years now and it allows me to trust the several kinds of headphones I have when mixing a track. When I take it to my ADAM A7X monitors to finalize the mix may only need a few tweaks here and there but it's always close to how I want it to be. I also love the new EQ features and the different sound environment tests like car, and aggregrate headphones. You can quickly run through those and determine if anything is standing out in the mix in those different environments. Upgrading on the website was very easy, which is not always the case in the audio industry. After upgrading the key and follow up email came very quickly.”

“For a long time I wanted to buy an application that allows to correct the headphones frequencies. I should point out that i like to set the mixing to 60% in headphones and then continue it in the monitors. I tried several in demo mode and in the end i chose the Sonarworks SoundID Reference Headphones which satisfied me more than the others. The results have improved so much that i almost no longer need any further adjustments when listening with monitors. Exceptional i would say. Thanks a lot to Sonarworks.”

“The whole online purchase experience was excellent. I found it difficult to find information on installation for customers with existing installations of Sonarworks before the upgrade. After installation of the Virtual Monitoring component, Sonarworks would not work. I had to uninstall it completely and reinstall from scratch with the new installation file which included the Virtual Monitoring component. Switching between an audio interface and Windows drivers is not seamless. Sometimes when software such as Chrome is already open and I switch audio drivers through Sonarworks in the left outputs menu it causes the audio to stop working. I need to stop the Sonarworks service and reload it, or restart the computer. When I try and restart the playback engine from the Sonarworks interface it doesn't respond. I click but there is no indication that I clicked and then no response. Apart from that the new Virtual Monitoring is a handy new addition. A bit expensive for an add-on with just an extra 3 options: Near Field, Mid Field and Far Field - but useful when on the go. There was no discount for customers upgrading to the feature. It's standard practice for most major plugin companies to offer discount upgrades for existing customers. However, I do understand you have a limited product range and therefore limited revenue streams so I'm happy to pay a bit extra to support as the products are great. Best, Dimitrios”

“for the longest time i couldn't find my activation key but honestly it could have been my fault, either way i got it working now and its great! especially since i don't have the space for my big monitors and my main headphones broke recently.”
