“Up to now, I have used the headphone version. Using a great Black Friday offer to upgrade to the speaker version with SoundID Reference. Measuring my two setups was relatively easy (following the instructions) and the result was massive. It discovered some important Room Modes, which should be treated. For the moment I use the result of the measurement and it has massively improved the hearing experience. Buying the upgrade was absolutely the best thing I could do. One minor issue: the position of the microphone is measured by a clicking sequence through the left and right speakers. When you use multiple large screens, it may come to multipath (direct path + reflections on the screen), which makes it difficult to reach some measuring points. But even with some multipath, I got an excellent result.”

“Of course we all know that Sonarworks leads the industry with SoundID Reference (If you really know the industry…) and recently they just added the virtual monitoring add on feature which I was waiting for over 3 years. Sorry for all the other companies because Sonarworks will only be the winner until Bob Katz denies it. But their customer service in my opinion is NOT good enough if I am being 100% honest…”

“I live in Thailand I ordered a bundle that included a microphone, headphones, and Vitual Mornitoring. The shipping surprised me. It only took a few days for the item to be delivered to me. At first I thought It might be difficult to use from just reading on the web. But when we actually put it into practice, we found that it was incredibly easy to use. And I tried it with my headphones (Dt1770, 1990). It's so powerful you won't believe how it's done. It made me think at first that my headphones were flat enough, but when I pressed enable, it dawned on me that my ears weren't flat at all. And when I opened Visual Monitor, it surprised me again. I find it very similar to using speakers (I'm using focal Evo 65 speakers right now). I work in areas where the speakers can't be turned on all the time. This tool makes me very happy. I felt right in purchasing it. Now I can mix and master my songs without having to be in front of the speakers all the time. Because I can do it in my headphones, yay! It's really great. I would recommend everyone who is hesitating to give it a try. And you guys won't be disappointed. (Sorry if my English is not very good)”

“Finding the upgrade you need is simple, and the pricing is clear and easy to figure out. I didn't need to interact with the Support Centre, and had no problems getting what I needed, aside from a small hiccup where I tried to first buy from the EU store before switching to the US store. After that, the mic shipped fast and I was up and running quickly!”
