“I have now bought 2 pairs of Sole Bliss shoes. My first impressions from my husband when he saw my first pair - Faith - "they won't be any good"! My feet are wide, and one foot has corrective surgery with a less than perfect outcome. However, somehow these slender looking shoes not only fit but are comfortable. I wore then to a wedding. My feet have never looked so elegant1 The 2nd pair - Tamara - have yet to be worn properly but trying them on leads me to believe they will be absolutely fine. I followed the sizing advice and ordered my usual size.”

“I’ve waited so long to be able to afford a pair of Sole Bliss shoes. The wait has been worth it, these shoes are like walking on air. I have really bad bunions and have struggled walking, as I’ve never had comfortable shoes. I am so happy with my first pair of sole Bliss shoes. Can’t wait for my next pair.”

“Speedy delivery and good communication. The Star Trainers I bought were a considered purchase - i have never spent so much on one pair of shoes! However, the quality is obviously key and overall I’m satisfied. The trainers look nice on, but the seam still digs in to my (not severe) bunion, despite the ‘pocket’ space for it. I will have to wear additional protection to make the shoes comfortable for walking any distance. I’d like to see a design without the seam which cuts across the big toe joint, ie where the most vulnerable and tender area is for bunion sufferers. Not sure I would pay so much again - I’ll stick to cheaper brands, with a wide fit.”

“I quite like my new trainers, but am sad that they are not as blissful as I had hoped. They are comfy around my bunions but there is a seam that rubs my little toe. I keep adjusting the laces but that hasn’t helped.”

“I ordered my trainers to see if they would relieve the pain from hallux rigidus (big toe joint arthritis) and they do so, brilliantly. I love the styling as well, so it's a 'win win' for me! Can't recommend them highly enough, super comfy trainers and I will be coming back for more.”

“I bought a pair of heeled boots, a pair of long boots and a pair of trainers from Sole Bliss. I kept the long boots, which are the first pair of shoes that I can wear without my physio-provided insoles for bunions. Like the first pair in about 15 years. Little to no bunion pain and NO INSOLE! Amazing stuff. They also look and feel expensive and lovely, except for the huge piece of elastic at the back for different calf sizes. I can understand why they do it, but for something that expensive I would have preferred a full leather boot. Either way I can't see the back when I'm wearing them, so I'm happy. I love them. However... I returned the ankle boots because, unlike the long boots, they looked and felt cheaper. You could see the carboard structure of the shoe through the thin leather. I worried that they would wear quite quickly. I just expected more for a shoe this pricey. The trainers that were my size were HUGE. I exchanged for a smaller size after being recommended to by Sole Bliss on the phone. After feeling assured by their staff, and having the smaller shoe fit me at home for several days, I wore them outside. BIG MISTAKE. After about an hour, they were killing me at the bunion!! It turns out that the special bunion flex panel is positioned based on the correct shoe size for your foot and not adapted for these trainers due to them being extra large. So these smaller trainers which physically fit my foot, had the bunion stretch panel nowhere near my bunion - which was rubbing against the seam and feeling the pressure of the shoe a day. Something I could only tell from the pain of walking on hard ground. Anyway, they apparently don't accept any returns whatsoever for shoes you wear even on a wood floor, let alone outside. So I had to sell them at a £50 loss on ebay. I would recommend them just for the miracualous long boots, and I'll try some of their heels. But don't get any item from them that says you need to buy a size up or size down - trust me. Also, as a specialist shoe company for people who really struggle with finding anything that doesn't hurt them - they should really exhibit some more flexibility with returns. Especially for the high high price. Vionics allows retruns for a month after wearing!”

“Finally, a pair of shoes that I can wear all day without any discomfort. I bought a pair of the Lara style in navy suede. Beautiful soft suede leather and a true navy colour. Very stylish as I wanted them to complete my wedding guest outfit. It would be great if there were styles with a heel height between the 4mm and flat heels to give a small lift in height. True, they are expensive, but worth the price tag for all day comfort and style!”
