I paid my moneys and got my receipt loaded down the install & help file ok a day later I have tried to load down the 32bit software and all that happens is the request hangs and eventually times out How do I get my software I have paid for Order Number 72634

I received a Windows 7 licence key but this failed the test at Microsoft - a site that I could access via a proxy with web destination filtering enabled - and I was unable to download the software. If it's a legitimate key, why it won't permit a legitimate download is a mystery to me - OEM software not for resale? You know - I don't. Were it not for the kindness of someone who just happened to have a CD at his home, and going and fetching it, I would have been stuck and without what I thought I had paid for. You need to make this crystal clear and if there are restriction of where you can download the install files - say so. For several hours I was DEEPLY unimpressed.

Hi Steve, You cannot download direct from MS with an OEM key. Download links are within the instructions sent immediately upon purchase. If you would have read them, you wouldn't have wasted any time and could have downloaded right away. The license itself is completely valid. You're problems were caused by not reading the email sent upon purchase. Regards, Softwaregeeks

It would have been helpful to know that the Windows 7 download has to be as the one you are replacing. If I want Windows 7 now I have to pay again.

The message keeps popping up saying I have activated microsoft office too many times and that the product licence will expire in 28 days time if I don't activate it. I have in fact activated it only once, when I first purchased it, online. Your suggestion that I activate it by a toll-free telephone call, if I get the message saying that I have tried to activate it too many times doesn't work either as neither of the telephone numbers are obtainable. What do you suggest?

You say that you've activated online already, so if you've reinstalled or installed on another machine, it's normal that you'd have to activate per phone. I have still not installed Windows 10 PRO, despite having tried for the last 3 days. I have Windows 10 Home installed, and my order should be able to effect the upgrade. I mainly blame Microsoft's update store which delivers circular "solutions" interspersed with marketing efforts to sell me a new PC etc. Apple App Store is much better organised, and I am seriously thinking of shifting to a Mac. Unable to download to disc spoke to agent told me to download tool witch I did to no avail just wasting discs trying to down load used the new code which made windows geniine but really wantef the new windows 7 version constant error code

Not satisfactory!!! Tried to contact Softwaregeeks team, their phone number not working, and no response on INFO emails. Purchased 10 Windows 7 Professional Product Key 32/64bit Licenses, from which 1 was defective. No response yet.

HI William, Windows Updates not working has nothing to do with a product key. This is a communication issue between your machine and Microsoft's servers. The Product code didn't work. I now need to call up Microsoft to manually register, which for all I know may not work. Disappointed.

Hi Ben, Since we have received no communication from yourself, we're guessing It seems as though Windows is prompting you to use the automated phone system to activate upon activation. If this is the case, this is clearly explained in the instructions (page 2), and is completely out of our control. Whilst most keys will activate online, this is at Microsoft’s discretion. This is not at all uncommon. Phone activation will take 3 minutes to complete. the only thing that i can give you a review is that instead of sending a download to ppl that are buying products or software from you is by sending them a full installation disc with all programme files not just part files because of the amount of problems i have had from the download has cost me more that wot your company promised

Hi Andrew, The product you purchased was download only and clearly advertised as so. You did not purchase a disc version. Full step by step instructions were sent to you on how to create your own disc/USB. We have replied to your email re. missing drivers. Windows 7 installations (released in 2009) only contain generic drivers, it's impossible for them to contain every driver that exists, especially for newer machines. Any missing drivers must be downloaded from your machine manufacturer's website, or install via the discs that were supplied with your machine. The software product that a bought is very good and worked first time. But make sure that you buy the correct item the first time around because if you have to change it you will face a great wall of silence. I have sent them 4 emails to date and as yet no reply. Try using the Phone and all you get is that we are in the process of changing phone providers this message has been active for the last 10-14 days. I have been trying to get a refund for Windows 10 pro that they said would work on my computer running Vista but this was incorrect and had to buy Window 7 profession instead which works a treat and a great price too. Will have to wait and see if I get any joy for them first before a contact my Bank to see what they can do it the matter is not resolved soon.

The version of windows 7 professional I received had some registry corruption that stopped windows from downloading updates which is a major security risk these days. I tried running the windows update trouble shooter, then updating the windows updater and then other non Microsoft tools. Just gave up and updated it to windows 10 now fine.
