“Received the dowloas links for Windows 8 from Microsoft (presumably) and ISO files. Download file doesn't do anything when run and after burning ISO to disk, it won't run, claiming a corrupt file.”

HI Timothy, From the error message, this would confirm that the download is corrupt at your end. We would recommend to re-download ensuring your machine doesn't go into standby/sleep mode whilst downloading. Why not contact us for help rather than simply writing a negative review? Softwaregeeks

“Ok so I was a bit dubious - £14.99 for Win7 Pro seamed too good to be true. License and key were emailed through within minutes. The rating would be a 5 but unfortunately the download link was either down or running painfully slow. I tried the key on the official Microsoft pages that informed me the key was for a pre-installed oem version so I couldn't download from there but found the DVD iso elsewhere and OS was installed, running and activated. Am already considering another purchase.”

“Was looking to update an older computer running XP to Windows 7 and found Software Geeks. Was really easy, made purchase and was able to download straightaway, supplied code worked fine first time so was no hassle. Feel silly for not doing it sooner. Highly recommend.”

“Did not update from Windows 10 Home to Pro. only replaced my Home Edition. Because my original operating system is mounted on my hard drive D: drive. Would not allow me upgrade to Pro Edition, only Home Edition.”

“Hi, Geek! It was very detailed explained in Your site. I did Windows 10 over a bootable USB flash drive(TOSHIBA-8GB-U-202), the installation was successful, no asking for activation key, after this I put the Dummy key, waited for upgrading from HOME to PRO. Finaly I used the new product key for activation. Now I enjoy with Windows 10 Pro over Crucial SSD MX300 525Gb in ToshibaSatellite L50-C-1GX, which starts about 7 to 11 seconds. Thank You!”

Hi Adnan, You're more than likely using the dummy key which is used to upgrade from 8.1 Home to Pro. You cannot activate with this key and must use the unique key sent on the second email. Please get in touch so that we can help. Kind Regards, Softwaregeeks
