“Desigmed to fail at magnetic latch. All other threads strong, lat h threads fell apart after just over a year. They state normal wear, rest of case in great shape, never got wet or hard use. Leather belts,shoes,coats last for years because they use the proper type of thread for a moving piece. This item uses cheap wro g thread amd when it fails as planned they offer a few percent off a replacement. Alot of money for not much more than a years use.”

As our team let you know in our private communication we have passed this on to our Product dev team looking to improve our design and stitching as much as possible. Furthermore, we have launched a redesigned version of the magnetic clasp as we love actioning customer feedback. We're sorry to hear you've been disappointed. We understand completely where you're coming from and we empathise. As our policy stands at the moment we do offer a standard 12-month manufacturing warranty and for some of our newer models we offer a 25-year warranty and a 2-year warranty. Regretfully anything beyond that does classify as normal wear and tear depending on the use of the case by each individual. We do wish we could be of more help here. It is our understanding that the Customer Care team in an effort to rectify our relationship offered you 2 discounts, an initial discount which is part of our policy and then upgraded that discount significantly as a gesture of goodwill. However we do appreciate this is not the solution you wanted and again, we do wish we could be of more help here. If in the future you upgrade to one of our models covered by our 25-year lifetime warranty please rest assured this won't happen again. We truly wish we haven't lost you as a customer. “My new Sakehive phone cover has just arrived and I have to say the quality is lovely. Feels very robust and the fit for the phone feels very secure. Delivery was next day so you can't really get much better than that.”

“Love my new vintage leather wallet phone case. You can feel the quality as soon as you touch it. It has that proper leather smell to it and feels beautifully sturdy. Well worth the price. Customer service is fab, good communications and the fact that I can register my phone case for an extended warranty is a plus.”

“Amazing product! This is the second set of mobile phone cases we’ve bought from Snakehive. The previous ones still look amazing after nearly 5 years and would be good for at least another five I am sure. The colour and texture has aged and softened beautifully with age, but there are absolutely no signs of wear and tear (and I carry my phone in a large bag with all sorts of other gubbins so they have not been treated with any great care). We have been so impressed with the quality and endurance of the cases - it was a no brainier to go straight to Snakehive again when we got new phones. Delivery was very fast.”
