“Never got my item because shipment delivery took way longer than expected and it made it after my departure to sign upon delivery which impeded the item to be left in our locker room. Attempted to send an email on Feb 10th in order to allow its delivery with no signature, requested by the dispatcher without reply. The intention of personalized delivery was nice, but it complicated the process after a very slow delivery timeframe by the shipping price paid compared to many purchases from EU, UK, Australia, Asia, etc
Here is the email body, FYR:
“ However, I was wondering if you could possible contact the Royal Mail and see if we can derogate the delivery confirmation/signature or if a relative can collect my parcel from the USPS office in which they returned it, after my departure abroad on Jan 29th.
After contacting them, they only gave me the option to schedule re-delivery to the leasing office of the complex (same address, not to apt) despite the heads up given in advance to them, the second attempt on Feb 3rd, was not made in the mentioned / agreed way, but the exact same one by default with nobody to receive it.
The USPS customer service took my request and signed the case the # 60294184, but it was apparently not followed after all.
See if there is any way they (RY) can support us on this matter.”

“I purchased a one size fits all Barbour wax hat and had to return it because it wasn't as stated it wouldn't fit my head as it was to small at the maximum setting.
I had to return it and I had to pay for the shipping cost.
I was refunded the full amount I paid for the hat.
The only winners here are the post office as smyths country sports paid for the original shipping cost and I paid for the return cost.
Maybe Barbour needs to alter their advertising as clearly one size does not fit all.”
“My purchase was made for a Christmas present so I can't write a review of the item.
However I can comment on delivery. I was given a tracking number and told I'd receive an email from, I assume Smyths, when my item had been delivered. This didn't happen. I only knew it had been delivered when I was notified by my son and checked with Royal Mail.
I hope my son is happier when he opens his Christmas present.”
