“Awful from start to finish. Brand new phone- offered £165 less than quoted; 2.5 weeks and 50 plus emails later- still no money. They don’t pay via PayPal as advertised; don’t pay the quoted amount and it costs you postage there and back if you don’t accept the offer too. They don’t answer phone calls; emails can take 2 days to reply and they’re rude on chat. Avoid this company. They’re rip off merchants”
“Awful service. Do not sell your phone with them. They lowered their original offer for my BRAND NEW AND SEALED iPhone stating ‘insurance is high’ if they just offered the correct amount in the first place they wouldn’t have such bad reviews. They hike their offers up so that people send their devices and then make you jump through hoops to get paid. Use another phone recycling business and avoid this one at all costs!!”

I would like to make you aware that smart cellular have been offering free gifts to there customers as incentives to leave 5 star review.
I was offered a free pair of ear pods to leave a review which I did.
They then informed me that I would not receive as it was not a five star review.
This is very misleading for customers who use reviews as a impartial means to use a company and a extremely unfair way of receiving fraudulent positive reviews.
Please let me know the out come.”
“I was expecting them to ultimately offer less than initially quoted - this is just how these businesses work once you have sent in your device. But dropping it by two thirds, when the handset is in very good conditions? It's a very dishonest practice and I will not be recommending them to others.

“I ordered an iPhone 12 in pristine condition and it certainly was without a mark on it. Data transfer from my iPad was straight forward and as far as I can tell it is working fine. A lot cheaper buying a "refurbished" model and much better than paying for monthly purchase. The delivery time was longer than expected but I was kept informed by email. I would purchase via Smart Cellular again.”

Scam, scam, and scam! I ordered an iPhone 15 Pro Max 256 GB in pristine condition for £796 from Smart Cellular. They deducted the funds from my account immediately, but I never received the phone. For over a week, I have been continuously chasing them for updates, only to face unprofessional staff behavior and zero customer support. Despite repeated follow-ups, I still have not received either the phone or my refund. Order number: 000094729. Avoid this company at all costs!”

“They had my phone over a month for me then to get paid less than originally quoted for a brand new iPhone 16 pro max. A lovely ladie from the company did contact me named Katie helped me with getting the most from the company and got me paid straight away not long after our phonecall she was lovely, as for the company themselves the time I had to wait was absolutely shocking and because they had it so long I let the device go for less because I was getting Torchered with emails with stupid bids from them. Over all I have been paid now but I don’t think I would sell again just from the experience I had with the wait and being quoted and paid less then originally was quoted. But thanks to the lovely Katie for all your help in assisting me and getting me paid once we spoke on the phone thank you.”

“I am very pleased with the quality of the iPhone that I purchased, I couldn’t fault that as it’s in perfect condition. I needed to return the iPhone due to a fault and the only thing that I was disappointed with is the speed of the communication as it took me several attempts to contact them to arrange the return of the faulty iPhone and the lack of communication once the phone was returned. The replacement iPhone that I received is also in perfect condition which I am pleased with.”

“Terrible company.
No communication until wanted to cancel offered a set of EarPods as compensation but never sent them. Phone took well over a week to come and wasn’t in the greatest of condition. Be very cautious as they advertise an address on the web site but when you receive your order it comes from a very different location. Also don’t waste your time calling as you won’t even get a reply.
One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with.”
