“Unfortunately very poor Customer Service.
Placed an order, received several days later as they had to verify payment, which was very unusual and not experienced with other retailers. Received handset but unfortunately had a crack on the screen. Did not want to send it back right away as I'd be without a handset for approx. 1 week. Decided to purchase a 2nd handset and return 1st one once received.
I was promised a £20 credit for inconvenience but yet to be received. The 2nd handset was delivered couple of days ago and signed for by Smart. I received no communication to confirm handset was returned successfully. Followed up this morning and now been informed it will take 42 working days to confirm they have received the return. On top of this another 10 working days to process refund. Under Returns & Refunds section on their website they state 'We offer a 30-day money-back policy on all our products'. Therefore, why will it take over 50 working days to receive a refund.
I have provided evidence of delivered tracking number, and have communications on email. Customer Services will never answer calls or return calls either.
Note, the 2nd handset received has no issues but the trouble I'm having to go through and be proactive has caused lot of inconvenience. It also means if a refund is not received in a timely manner I would struggle to pay off the credit card balance for this purchase.
If anyone at Smart are reviewing this, I'd appreciate effective support to fast track the refund process. Happy to re-visit this review based on final outcome.”

“Ordered refurbished i phone. Delivery on website states within 2-3 working days but will be despatched in 24 hours. Email then received with ‘updated’ current delivery timescales for their store as being 3-5 working days but have not been changed on the website so totally misleading. Maximum of 5 working days would be tomorrow but no indication item been despatched. No-one answers the phone, says in a queue then that no-one available, no response to emails. V poor and disappointing. Have requested refund, though only way to do so is by email and now will have to await someone to respond! Have had much better experience buying refurbished phones smoothly and efficiently from elsewhere.”

My phone was in excellent condition as confirmed by the company on its receipt. However they have since offered a mere £320 claiming that it has scratches, which it certainly didn’t have before.

“Absolutely shocking company. I ordered two phones and only received one. No-one answers the phones, the live chat people are useless and say everything is out of their scope. The one phone we did receive is SIM locked therefore we can't use it. I emailed nearly two weeks ago, got an email back saying it takes 2 days to reply and I still haven't heard anything.
I will never use this company again and highly recommend no-one else to either.
They have stolen our money and we will be taking further action.”
