I ordered it on the 16th October at 2am and it said free next day premium delivery at check out when I went to pay and even when I received the email receipt

Phone took a few days longer to arrive than stated. They did call to see if we wanted a different colour for quicker delivery, but it was a present for my daughter who wanted a specific colour. Still arrived in time as ordered well in advance

This is the same review I left on Trustpilot. Look there for more bad experiences. I would ignore most of the 5* ones, concentrate on the 1* .. there's plenty of them. Rogues ... They sell phones they may not have and promise delivery dates they can't meet. Ordered an IPhone SE on 30th September, expected delivery was 2nd or 3rd October, i.e.2 to 3 working days. Received email on 1st October saying delivery now expected in 3-5 working days. Got on to Chat with Claire who couldn't say when it would be delivered, could be middle of next week, or why there was a delay. Told her I needed it asap and that I wanted to cancel the order. She said I would need to email sales. I did this and told them if I didn't hear back the same day I would instruct my credit card company to cancel the payment. I have tried calling their contact numbers several times but can't get through to anyone. I suspect they sell phones they don't have, hoping they'll get one that fits requirements before buyers get too frustrated. I may be wrong ... be interesting to see as and when I get a refund or a response this this post. Update: Encouraging that I received a response so quickly. I hope that my cancellation and refund are acted on promptly too. Let's see. Further update 2/10: Got a reply from sales, Neil. Wanted confirmation that I wanted to cancel!!! .. which of course I gave. Said that refund could take up to 10 working days and and that if I received phone I would need to send back within 14 days .. really, so you can't ensure nothing is sent now? I said if I didn't get refund soon I would contact Mastercard and raise a dispute. What a shower. Update 3rd Oct: Frankie replied and has said they will escalate my refund with Accounts. Perhaps that will speed things up ... it would be nice to report that it did. Update 8 Oct: So a phone arrived today of course, with no invoice or other paperwork. This despite the fact that I cancelled the order a week ago. Just a ploy to hold onto my money for longer. Handset was in a sealed cardboard package which I have not opened. Have contacted the Returns email address where Rebecca gave me instructions on how and where to send it back to them. Their online return instructions mention specifying the IMEI number and, as I want to return it unopened in the original package, I have no interest in activating the phone to find it. Have queried this with Rebecca but yet to get a reply. Update 9 October: Sent handset back, in original package, as Rebecca didn't mention IMEI on her instructions. It went Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm next day which cost £9.35. They say they will reimburse return postage up to £8.50 ... wonder if I'll ever see that? Will raise a dispute for original purchase price if I don't see a refund soon. Update 10 Oct: Phone delivered to them at 11:10am, signed for by Rashmi. Have emailed and asked for confirmation that refund is underway .. no reply. In fact no reply to my last 3 emails. I can see I will have to raise a dispute with Mastercard to get my money back. Update 14 Oct: Received email from Sales (Lynn) asking me to leave a review and "offering" a free pair of earpods once I do. Am not sure I'd get them if I left my review. She also offered to help with my order so I replied asking her to expedite my refund. Don't hold out much hope though ... Also noticed that all the recent 5* reviews were dated 13th October .. a SUNDAY when the business is closed. Looks like that's when Smart Cellular do their Trustpilot admin! Update 21 October: I did actually get my refund, processed on the 18th, a week after I returned the handset. I have contacted Payments to enquire about my £8.50 postage reimbursement. Update 24 October: Eventually got my postage refund of £8.50. Rebecca was helpful and credited my Paypal account. Perhaps not all of the staff at Smart Cellular are in on the scams? Still, overall an unpleasant experience and a business to avoid. Date of experience: 30 September 2024

The store offered a free setup service after I purchased my phone, which was incredibly helpful. They helped me transfer my contacts, apps, and data. It saved me a ton of time, and I walked away with a fully functional new phone.

Previously purchased from Smart Cellular, so had a good idea what to expect. Shopped around to gauge pricing and condition ratings amongst competitors also offering used iPhone 13's. Opted for Smart Cellular again based on price/condition and received my phone inside a week of ordering. Condition was above what I expected, even though this was listed as excellent. Battery life also great at 85%. Got a lot more memory also, so can see a considerable boost over my previous iPhone 11. Would recommend and I'm certain I will use Smart Cellular again.

Great phone in good working order. Arrived little late but it was resolved immediately by the team. It also has a small Nick on it but meant to be in pristine condition, however not noticeable nor does it impact the phones function. Overall I’m pleased with the product.

Sadly the phone I ordered took over 2 weeks to arrive despite being advertised as in stock. Once received, unfortunately the phone was not in pristine condition (as described) and I had selected this and paid extra as wanted the security of the condition being top notch. I emailed customer service over 10 days ago and as yet have received no reply..... Maybe the offer of a pair of free ear buds to make a review might make up for this in a small way....

This is the second time we have purchased from smart cellular and I would definitely recommend. Smart phones are not the cheapest these days so for my children to have an upto date phone I will always use smart cellular. I have purchased 2 iPhone altogether in the excellent category. The latest one had the tiniest nick which it hardly recognisable and the battery life is brilliant for a refurbished phone. My dad always said refurbished is just as good as new and I definitely agree. I will definitely be using them in the future.

I must admit, I was slightly worried about buying a secondhand phone from an online supplier. I checked out several sites and settled on smart cellular, I’m glad I did. I ordered a pristine iPhone 12 and when it arrived it was pristine. The site information was good. The delivery was good. In fact I would recommend them to anybody who are looking for a iPhone or similar. personally, I can’t fault them.

It was very easy to order my IPhone. Delivery took longer than expected but once I contacted Smart Cellular they informed me of the delay and told me how long the delay would be (less than one week)

The phone we received did not match the order we received in terms of colour and condition the phone was in. Customer services was difficult to get hold of but did eventually come good with a refund but we were still without a replacement phone 3 weeks down the line and lets be honest when we we've ordered a new phone its something we want access to the next day never mind a 3 week wait for a refund and then to order a new one. I would much prefer to have been told we will send out the correct phone immediately.
