“Posted them my old phone, never received my money for it. Phone them could not find my account and still have never paid me. This was last December and £270 down thanks very much. Please avoid these people!!!!”

“AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
I sent in two brand-new, sealed phones that were quoted at £715 each. After receiving them, they suddenly reduced the offer to £400, claiming it was because they had to “buy insurance”. something that was never mentioned anywhere on their website.
After some back and forth, they replied with increased offers, which I accepted, a tactic they use to waste time and haggle after reading reviews. AND after making me wait 2 weeks for the payout they claimed there was an issue with my documents even though I had a valid British Passport. then cancelled my order. Absolute jokers.”

“I am contacting you to report this company for lieing to customers and committing fraud:
I sold my phone for £600 in good faith.
They lied and said my phone was broken when it wasn’t.
I sent my phone in excellent condition.
They only offered me £200 at first, I finally managed to get £240.
I feared, as they lied about the condition of my phone, if I didn’t accept the £240 I wouldn’t get anything or they would purposely break my phone and send it back or lose it on purpose.
If I turned this offer down and they returned my phone after they broke it it would have been worth less than the £240 they were offering so I felt I didn’t have a choice but to accept.
I felt the best thing to do would be to accept the £240 just so I have something and then find a way to get the remaining £360 to make up the £600 I sold my phone to them for.
This is what they told me:
After a detailed inspection, we found that your device falls under our “Poor” condition category. This means that one or more of the following issues were detected:
Battery health is below 80%
Cracked or damaged screen, back glass, or any other visible part
Pixel damage, screen burn, or LCD malfunction (in these cases, both the screen and LCD need to be replaced before resale)
ALL OF THIS IS A LIE
After several messages I decided to look further in to this company as the reviews on their website (now) look fake.
If you google smart cellular reviews you will see a lot of other customers having similar experiences to mine.
If you google Reddit smart cellular reviews there are further reviews of customers having similar negative experiences.
I am considering taking them to the small claims court if they don’t send me the £360 they owe me.”
“Original phone arrived promptly. However the GPS did not work so I returned it within the 30 days. Communication as to when a replacement would be sent was poor and I sent a 1 star review. Eventually some 17 days after the phone was received I received a replacement which works well.”

“I ordered an Apple iPhone 14, it arrived within 7 days by Royal Mail and within the time scale I was given.
It was well packaged and also contained a charger wire and SIM card extractor.
It was in pristine condition and very easy to set up.
