“Really impressed with the service. I hadn't heard of the company before but found them through Google. The pricing was competitive so I looked them up on Trust Pilot where the reviews were positive which aligned well to my experience of using them. My order was dispatched within about an hour (if not less!) of ordering. with next day delivery. Unfortunately I wasn't going to be home the next day but because they use the best courier (DPD), it was easy to push delivery back by a day. When the product arrived, it was well-packed and exactly as described. A great experience from start to end.”

“I recently chose Smart Home Sounds as my preferred retailer for the purchase of a Sonos Beam soundbar. I first noticed the company from the informative YouTube reviews that they post and this was backed up by excellent reviews and a competitive pricing policy. I was particularly impressed by the 30 day trial period and free 6 year guarantee that they offered. I ordered the soundbar from the Smart Home Sounds website, which offered free next day delivery, however this did not work for me, but using the 'Contact' option on the website enabled me to request a Saturday delivery date. My enquiry was dealt with promptly and in a very efficient and friendly manner. My dealings with the company have been nothing but positive.”

The return process was faultless and kudos to SHS for a truly great service despite the problem. I will buy from them again on the strength of this. “I was looking to upgrade my tv/home cinema sound system because we had just bought a new tv. I knew Sonos was a very good brand at reasonable prices so decided to look for reviews on YouTube where I found the videos by Smart Home Sounds. First, it was actually great to see videos made by British reviewers as they almost always are by Americans, and also that the videos were very professionally produced and presented in clear, understandable language that is neither overly technical nor condescending. I decided to go for the Sonos Beam Gen 2 and wall mount bracket which were promptly dispatched on the next working day and delivered the day after as promised. I had one small problem with screws which attach the sound bar to the mounting bracket not being long enough so I phoned SHS to let them know (I had found some alternative screws that I could use so wasn’t in need of replacements). SHS customer service was very attentive to my problem and forwarded the issue onto the supplier. They were relieved that I was not held up in getting my system operational and I feel that if I was they would have done everything possible to minimise the disruption. With the best will in the world problems happen, but it is the way in which a vendor deals with it that distinguishes a good one from the rest and I felt that SHS was genuinely concerned for my satisfaction and wanted to resolve the issue rather than just being obliged to, and that gives me confidence to recommend them and to be a return customer. I’m already thinking of adding a pair of rear surround speakers and I reckon I know where I’ll be shopping.”

“After viewing Smart Home Sounds on YouTube for some time, I went to them for a review on the new (10/2022) Sonos Sub Mini. Enjoyed the review as it told me real details bout what to expect, and whether it would be value for money for me. I have never bought from a site that gives reviews on such a web site, but, on checking the company, I felt they could be trusted and so, I ordered the speaker. T the time of ordering, the, Sonos web site was offering a suggested delivery date (from) 13 October following a 6 October release. Smart Homes Sounds still stated 6 October and, lo and behold, by 11:15 am on the 6 October, I received my order in perfect condition. SHS’s service and advice is second to none and if anyone feels unsure (as I did) about using such an on-line company, DON’T, you will find excellent service and goods - I couldn’t recommend them more than the full 5 star rating, but I WISH I COULD!!”
