Choice of products is great and prices are very good, but when you pay for next day delivery and it takes 2, it kind of annoys you. Won't stop my buying from them again, but I couldn't believe it when my parcel didn't turn up when requested.

They were out of stock on one of the items I ordered (250ml menzerna compound) . I had a phone call asking if I would pay £14 more and get the larger bottle instead. I didn't want to pay any more so they sent me a different 250ml compound. Although I am happy with the products I received, I'm not overly impressed with Slims. I thought it was cheeky of them to ask me to pay more, as it wasn't my fault they didn't have the stock to fulfill my order. Something as simple as a cheap air freshener included in my order as a little apology would have gone a long way. I'm not sure I will purchase from them again.

Happy with the delivery but unfortunately dispatched a wrong item ordered chemical guys stopper air freshener and dispatched chemical guys stopper suds instead.

First time purchaser: Everything ordered came through OK but one of the spray pump bottles did not work properly and was leaking all over the place and I was unable to stop it!! I returned the pump and thought that at this point I would be refunded but I was told it was working fine and they returned it to me. On its return it did work perfectly so I assume it was just swapped. Another item I ordered: A manual spray bottle (came without the bottle) - you have to look closely at what you are buying as the picture on the website was of a the bottle and the hand spray (that twists on to the bottle) - what good is that to me??? All in all, and even with a bit of communication with their sales dept, I will be looking elsewhere for my detailing products. I don't have the time to waste to scrutinise their description to make sure the pictures show the correct product and if I return something I don't expect a quibble - just my money back - no questions asked. This would have saved me from looking elsewhere as there are so many other companies selling the same product.

Recently placed a order for a detailing kit, the web site said everything was in stock, the following day I received a call telling me the orbital polisher was not available and I was offered another machine and this would be £10 cheaper, reluctantly I accepted the machine... The order was a day late in coming but it was very well packed and the txt notifications is great. Never received the £10 refund........

I would have gave a 5star rating but my order came over the £50 to qualify for free delivery. But when I went to check out I was charged £7.50 to post to N.I.

Slims Detailing has a great website, it's easy to use, easy to navigate and they sell some really good products. They don't just sell one brand, they sell nearly every brand I can think of. The only problem I have is the postage. I ordered on a Wednesday night, and clicked on "2 day delivery" so I was expecting my order to be here by Friday or Saturday at the lesat, and I've got nothing yet, and it's now Sunday. I just don't think it's good enough, I've bought things of eBay for 'fast and free' and they've been delivered within 2 days. Just when you're paying for delivery you expect it to arrive on time. Auto Finesse's delivery service is top class, they have it figured out, there's no excuse especially when you pay, and that's why i feel Slims can only get 3 stars at the moment.

Order despathed in a reasonable time given the Xmas holidays; liquids also really well packed to prevent leakage. Only niggle was the shredded cardboard used to fill the box (a previous order used air-bags to fill empty space) - there was a large microfibre drying towel in the order which wasnt wrapped in plastic and so is now full of tiny bits of cardboad dust. In future would be good to put the microfibre in a bag or not use packing material that will ruin the product!

Delivery lowest price at almost £5 is not very good. I only wanted 2 small bottles so expected a much lower priced delivery option. Website also not compatible with mobiles (iPhone Safari) as I could not enter discount codes or use points unless using a PC. Well packaged products though

I ordered a voucher for a relatives birthday. I wasn't incredibly impressed by the quality. It was printed on a bit of paper which I could have done myself. There was still the editing tools on the printed voucher. No authenticity hologram, stamp or such like so it is difficult to tell if it is genuine. Apart from that, I am impressed by the website and from what I have seen, the quality of the products.

Work well the wheel woolies great product but payed for next day delivery and didn't get it ! Took 2 days so why pay for next day ? Disappointed in that respect

All products that I ordered were sent to me on time. However, the box looked like it had been thrown around and some the degreaser had leaked. I had a job booked in the next morning and therefore did not have the timeto make contact and complain straight away. Maybe consider fragile stickers and a new courier company???

Requested parcel left in safe place and i still had to collect and despite requesting a log on email confirmation 6 times iv yet to recieve it so unable to use slims account

Packaging is somewhat to be desired, also taping the triggers (that lock) and not the threaded part too the bottles is bizarre, only a small leak but a leak non the less.

My item was delivered on time and was satisfactory. My only critique was that one of the polishing pads was not packaged and was slightly dirty

Ordered on Sunday night seeing as there was next working day delivery but knowing that living in Northern Ireland it would be a day extra. This was for my Brothers birthday on Wednesday didnt come until Thursday ah well better late that never.

Hi Deborah, thanks for your feedback. Apologies your order didn't arrive on time. In normal circumstances our courier delivers within 48 hours to Northern Ireland. The week in question, our courier failed to show up on Monday so all orders were delayed 24 hours.
