“Flossy Brook was probably one of the best self catering establishments I have seen. I was in tourism for twenty years & have had self catering holidays for over 50 years, so I feel qualified to give this opinion. The house was immaculate. The equipment very comprehensive & good quality. The welcome & information given by the owner was excellent. The house & swimming pool were incredibly warm & we went in November! I am usually reluctant to recommend places to friends & family as we all have different requirements but I am happy to unhesitatingly recommend Flossy Brook.”

“We were 12 plus one infant and there was plenty of space for us all, for sleeping, cooking and eating, and just chilling. All rooms clean and comfortable, plenty of crockery and other kitchen equipment etc.”

“The Plough is a stunning property with lovely owners. My family (20 of us in total) and I stayed here for a week in October and it was perfect. The location is brilliant as there is loads to do for all ages. The hot tub was very impressive and the outside lights and Bench's made a perfect relaxing area at night. We had anything we needed and more. We would definitely recommend for families/friends and we would love to return 👍 we especially loved the pool table, massive dinner table as everyone could eat together and the cloakroom where our muddy wellies went after a fun day out 😁”

“Excellent property and we were given good advice before we booked and confirmed. Plenty of excellent and useful information was sent in advance of our stay and the photos on the website were an extremely accurate presentation of the house we stayed in. We will definitely book with Sleeps 12 again and recommend you to others.”

“10/10 Amazing house & views great location. We were a party of 4 generations celebrating a 90th birthday & the house catered for us all. Very clean, comfortable beds quality furnishings & well laid out. Will certainly be recommending to friends & family. Can also recommend the Walnut Tree hotel who we very hospitable & made a 90yr old feel very special when we dined there. Definitely 5stars”

“We found Culmbridge House accommodation suited our needs perfectly for a friends and family weekend celebration. The house was warm, comfortable and plenty large enough. The bedrooms were spacious with very comfy beds. The kitchen was well equipped, the Barbeque hut was great and the play equipment was most enjoyed. The swimming pool was brilliant, large enough to swim seriously and great fun for games finished off with a sauna, great.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at Coat Barn. The property was superbly equipped and cavernous. The rooms were all of a very good size and some were huge with beautifully appointed bathrooms. The area was quiet and very rural and yet within easy reach of a multitude of interesting places to visit. We were a self catering group with a visiting chef on our last night. The kitchen was very well appointed with three ovens, two fridges and two freezers and more kitchen equipment than you could shake a stick at; all in excellent condition. We were a group of twelve, so seating around the large table was comfortable but I guess it would have been a little tight for 16, but certainly possible. Nine televisions! But none turned on, there was so much to do. We engaged a classical guitarist on one evening, Jonathan Pickard, which ended a perfect evening after a perfect meal in wonderful settings. My only negative observation is the car park, which was rather too small, especially when it had to be shared with refuse collection and linen delivery. This resulted in three cars being parked off site. Communications with the house keeper/manager were excellent and easy, and Caroline was very helpful and always charming. I highly recommend this outstanding property.”
