“The blind arrived quite quickly. But after fitting does not run smoothly. After calling the company was told wld be rung back by technical. Nothing yet, just a suggested vidio to watch!! After requesting to SPEAK to someone.”

Hi Elizabeth I think that the customer services team wanted you to try the trouble shooting video before anyone from technical got involved. As trouble shooting is always the first step.

Sorry Christine as per our emails you ordered GGL 6 blinds but you actually have GGL MK06 windows (which are totally different) This is why they are wrong. We will raise a customer services ticket so you can send the wrong blinds back and in the meantime if you want to re-order the correct size GGL MK06 that would be great. Many thanks Naomi

“Hi both blinds fitter perfectly and one locked down ok but one blind would not lock down. After pulling down. Found it difficult to lock in position. After several attempts to would lock down only to shoot up minutes later. We have persevered for days sometimes it will stay down for a few hours but not very often. About one out of ten times. A bit consecrating in the middle of the night. Brian stewart”

“The package arrived on time and in good condition on the appointed day. Working from the instructions and video I unpacked everything and looked for the orange bag of fixings. There were two orange bags with complimentary items which were welcome but no fixings. I found them eventually more or less hidden in the bubble wrap. I wonder why the instructions say look for the orange bag when no bag is put in the package? Assembly was easy but the first trial of the motor was not successful and Naomi's assistance was required to reset everything. Installation was straightforward but if you are not young and strong as in the video you may need three people. Mine was 1.5 x 2.5m and the blind box was very heavy and working at height adds difficulty. I also recommend using a laser measure for all measurements for accuracy. Steel tapes or whatever are not good enough to check parallels and squareness. Initially the blind was a bit uneven but the temperature was very low and once the sun shone the material tightened up considerably. Overall we are very pleased with the quality and service particularly from Naomi who has the patience of Job and an encyclopaediac knowledge of her subject. I had discussions about the orange bag, why the shelf frame has to be installed a minimum of 100mm from the lower edge of the opening (it doesn't) and why wall fixings are not provided (they don't know the nature of the mounting surface) or even mentioned (would save a lot of hassle over the contents of the orange bag and whether it contained all the fixings for the installation). But nit picking aside this was a 5 star job and we should have done it long ago”

“Despite me carefully measuring the opening for the blind,( which showed a narrower measurement at the bottom than the top),and reporting this on the order form, Skylight blinds sent a blind which the top width and I was not impressed.uniform width from top to bottom. The result was it would not fit the opening. For various reasons sending it back was not an option and significant additional work was required to make the blind fit. I”

“Good website, product quality average,great after sales assistance that tried hard to rectify recurring fault. Product electrical motor and solar assembly returned as requested for full refund. Postage was to be refunded for returned items alas that never happened I assume it was not intentional.”

“I had trouble with customer services when returning a faulty blind. I was as refused several times before checking my legal rights regarding online purchases after which I returned the faulty item and they covered they cost of postage. After which, I reordered a blind from them that was not faulty and which fits the window and is of good quality. The blinds are good value as well. However their returns policy needs to be reviewed in line with online purchasing rights in the UK. (these were not made to measure blinds but standard sizes for velux style windows).”
