“Great service starting with Steve the extremely helpful salesman, prompt delivery and great customer service from Naomi Came across a slight problem with fitting but after an email to Naomi this was quickly dealt with over the telephone Just had a cold frosty night and found the the blind really made a difference with keeping the cold out and the warmth in. “The blinds themselves are very good, now that they are installed, and functioning, correctly. The service from the customer service team was great and the engineers were knowledgeable. Sadly we have had issues with the blinds due to, what turned out to be, three faulty motors in all three of our blinds. We have had them for nearly two years and they have been functioning correctly for about half that time. I have been up and down ladders charging and replacing battaries almost once a fortnight. I have had to have to lots of engineer visits and around 10 different batteries and all motors replaced to reach this point. But now they work they are great. Getting to this point was hard, but all the way the service was awesome, and friendly and helpful. The problem was unknown and we had to try so many options before working it out, but they worked with me to sort it, so very well done. I do recommend them, though if losing charge I suggest check the motor first! do make sure you measure properly as I have a small gap in the frame (my fault) and self install is OK if you are competent. I suggest using mains where possible and, although less pretty, put the battery below the blind, becuse if it runs out of juice while closed it is a pain to get to.”

“Once in a while you stumble across a company that exemplifies customer service. Skylight Blinds Direct is one such company. From the point of obtaining a quote it has been a pleasure dealing with this company who provided help/assistance above and beyond large companies putting them to shame. I had regular contact from them whilst building works were being undertaken but at no time did I ever feel pressured into a sale. There was an element of genuine sincerity asking about the building project taking place at our property and provided some technical advice regarding our proposed design to house a lantern blind. We eventually reached a point were we were ready to place an order and the lead time was only a couple of weeks. The item was delivered with a thank you note and three chocolate bars. A simple but nevertheless kind gesture which speaks volumes. At first the electrician and I were quite daunted about the installation particularly in our case because we had to build in situ on shelf below our lantern. Although it was a little bit fiddly (attributed to having to assemble off the ground), it was very straightforward. We encountered a couple of very minor issues but Skylight Blinds Direct returned my call almost straight away although to be honest, I should have probably read the instructions a bit more carefully. In summary, the blind looks amazing and have no hesitation in recommending this company. Brilliant!”

“1st class service. Blinds are brilliant and at a fraction of the cost from Velux. I ordered online late on a Tuesday afternoon and blinds were delivered to me in Northern Ireland early on the Friday morning. (Since Brexit very few things arrive in Northern Ireland quickly!) Went for the white aluminium option as I felt these blend in better with the white PVC window frame. Would highly recommend and will be buying from Skylightblinds Direct in the future.”

“A great user friendly website which encouraged us to contact the company by phone where Steve was very helpful and knowledgeable about the latern blind. After completing the online order form we received regular emails from Naomi in Sales informing us on the status of our chosen blind. We were able to choose a delivery date which was suitable for us, it was all packaged so well and the ease of assembling was great with the very clear instructions supplied. Whilst my husband is a DIY er this was one of the easiest jobs he's tackled. It worked first time and the solar panel meant that there was no wiring. All round fantastic service and product, definitely would recommend 👌”

“Very good blinds and super support! Found my unknown brand skylight and is a old roto wood300. Fits just as fine, shame it was a bit tricky to fit as I guess due to ageing wood the size can be wrong of a few millimetres. But I worked around and fits just as good as any other blind you see on the website!”
