I bought 4 tickets that should have been £21 with all the ad ons of booking fees it ended up at £26.50 it’s a rip off

Simple enough progress but £9 booking fee plus another £1 "handling fee" is way over priced for essentially doing nothing.

Hi there, Booking fees are charged simply because we pay the full face value of your ticket back to the event organiser. A booking fee is added per ticket and is calculated as a percentage of the face value. It's always displayed before you add any tickets to your basket. The booking fee is the margin that Skiddle applies in order to cover the cost of providing a secure ticketing service. This includes overheads such as debit/credit card processing fees, VAT, customer services, call handling, account management, administration, website development, secure server costs and profit. The RapidScan ticket fee covers the overheads incurred by dispatching the order or providing the scanning technology used to produce and validate your ticket quickly and efficiently at the event. As you can appreciate without charging a fee we, unfortunately, wouldn't be able to operate. However, we can understand that you'd like to pay as little as you can for your event tickets so we always aim to keep our fees to a minimum. Thanks, LB Skiddle Customer Support

I dont know why im paying a ticket fee for an eticket? I cant stick that on my walk and what resources does it use to send me an email in the exchange for the price of the ticket.

The booking was easy but I don’t like the fact that there are hidden fees which appear at the checkout. Fees should already be included in the ticket. I shouldn’t be charged extra just to be able to have my tickets on my phone!!

Hi There, Thank you for leaving your review. We are glad to hear you were able to make your booking easily. Upon clicking the payment option on the event listing, all fees are stated. The only extras after that point are optional, the charity donation and Refund Protection. Please refer to below as to why we charge our fees: 9.3 We may charge a Booking Fee per ticket, which covers the costs Skiddle incur to process the transaction (including, but not limited to, card processing fees, VAT and other taxes, customer services and the provision of our services, including profit) 9.4 We may charge a Delivery/Handling Fee per order, which covers the costs Skiddle incur to make the ticket available to you and the event promoter (including, but not limited to, postage, hardware provision, software provision, including profit) Thanks, IJ Skiddle Customer Support Team

I wasn't impressed. It took me two days to book a ticket. I would put the ticket into the basket, press continue expecting to be taken to the pay page but it would just return me to the first page where you choose the ticket you want. It was very confusing and frustrating, particularly as I am neuro diverse.

Booking fees are non-refundable - this is across the board with all booking platforms. However, Skiddle are one of the only platforms offering booking fee credit on a future purchase and further information about this can be found within your automated refund email. Due to this, ticket prices are subject to change as agreed upon purchase and Skiddle have no control over this. In the circumstances that promoters run a promotion\offer\reduction on the price of tickets, we're unfortunately unable to issue a refund Ticket prices are set by the promoter, so any queries regarding this are to be taken up with them directly. A booking fee is added per ticket and is calculated as a percentage of the face value. It's always displayed before you add any tickets to your basket. The booking fee is the margin that Skiddle applies in order to cover the cost of providing a secure ticketing service. This includes overheads such as debit/credit card processing fees, VAT, customer services, call handling, account management, administration, website development, secure server costs, profit, and a few tea bags for staff brews! This is the second fee applied by Skiddle and covers the delivery of your order, in this case RapidScan tickets. here is only ever one delivery charge applied per order and doesn't increase regardless of the number of tickets that you purchase. It is displayed and added at the final checkout page once you have selected all the tickets you require. It covers the overheads incurred by dispatching the order or providing the scanning technology used to produce and validate your ticket quickly and efficiently at the event. As you can appreciate without charging a fee we, unfortunately, wouldn't be able to operate. When trying to purchase tickets the screen only displays partly with no scroll bar, only way to see full page is reduce size to 50% to purchase tickets.
