Biggest joke I’ve ever experienced. Boat turned up nearly 1.5 hours late, supposed to leave at 8:45pm, 10:35pm and we was still standing in the cold waiting, numerous people walked off and left, “biggest and best” boat party, absolute scam, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, organiser didn’t have a clue what he was doing, complete and utter chaos!

Hi Victoria, Thank you for your feedback. Skiddle is a self-service website for event organisers to list and sell their tickets on. The event organisers themselves can cancel their event. We do have a really comprehensive website, but as Skiddle is a self-service ticket agent, we do rely on the event organisers to inform us of event changes. He wasn't a singer at all. People was almost fall asleep and I was one of them. Very poor facilities specially the Chairs are so uncomfortable and limited. I had bag pain , couldn't sit and as a result I left very early.

What if I need a refund simply because my monthly period started and I literally need to sit down and not move for the next 5 days? Would I need to provide evidence from a doctor? Why make it so difficult to get a refund without a letter from my left and right ovary? I paid for the option to get a refund, yes, without reading the rules, but I wasn't expecting having to manouevre around the roadblocks skiddle people have inserted into the process. My Aunty Flo came from Redding, she said b**** sit down, don't go anywhere. That's why I want a refund. It's none of your business but here we are!

Hi There, I am sorry to hear of your experience. I believe you are referring to a Refund Protection refund. This is solely managed by Ticket Plan, and is just a service that Skiddle provided the option of customers adding to their orders. As Ticket Plan is a third party company to Skiddle they do have their own terms and conditions, which are stated at point of purchase. They do require evidence to process a refund. If you were unable to attend the event you are able to request a refund through the event organisers directly. Within your Skiddle Order history you can locate a Promoter Contact Form which will get you in direct communication with the event organisers. Kind regards, IJ Skiddle Customer Support Team

Avoid!! Silverburn temporary ice rink is bigger, 100x better and cheaper. We first waited (5 of us) for the 6 o'clock session and it was almost 25 past 6 before we got to the front to pay. The total for 5 of us was £74.14 and then £3 for a skating aid to be on the ice for 20 min. We decided to wait for the next session and booked through the app. When the next session started we got on fairly quick being at the front of the queue. The skates are very very blunt and are difficult to skate with and the amount of people that's let on the small rink is a joke, there had to be at least 60 people on the rink with people falling left, right and center. There was 1 staff on the ice at one end and another was at the other end on her phone. We came the ice after 20 mins feeling disappointed and that we wasted so much time and money. After such a short time all our feet were sore from the poor quality skates. I can't emphasise how bad this place is, AVOID at all costs. Save your money and time, go to silverburn. The reason we didn't was because it was closed due to bad weather.

Absolutely shocking I would not recommend this light trail. Firstly the ice skating rink is a joke, it is tiles, you cannot skate on it, you can't even push the skate aids. My autistic nephew wanted to go on the tiny kids ride and his carer to sit with him to keep him safe and stop him climbing out was told she had to pay!!!!! Photo opportunities were rushed as paths were narrow and nobody could get passed so you couldn't enjoy any moments it was all rushed. The paths were extremely dangerous very very slippery even with rubber mats. I got a refund for the ice skating, staff didn't even hesitate but really we have been to better. Disappointed 😥

I purchased 2 extra tickets by mistake and I kindly requested a refund. I haven’t heard from Skiddle and I have 4 tickets for the same event. I will most definitely think twice before purchasing a ticket from Skiddle again.

Hello Ionna, I am sorry to hear of your experience. I located your conversation with a Skiddle Customer Support representative. You did receice multiple responses and these advised due to Skiddle solely being the ticketing platform we are not able to make refund decisions due to the funds not belonging to us. We directed you to the event organisers directly via a promoter contact form, I am sorry if you have not yet had a response from the event organisers. These charlatans have just held onto £4.45 of my money for a cancelled event. If they did this for every cancelled event then they're making an absolute fortune on other people's misfortune. I WANT A FULL REFUND

Hi There, Thank you for your feedback. As agreed upon purchase, booking fees are non-refundable. This is across the board with all booking platforms, however, Skiddle are one of the only platforms to offer it in form of a credit, so you don't lose out on the money spent. A booking fee is added per ticket and is calculated as a percentage of the face value. It's always displayed before you add any tickets to your basket. The booking fee is the margin that Skiddle applies in order to cover the cost of providing a secure ticketing service. This includes overheads such as debit/credit card processing fees, VAT, customer services, call handling, account management, administration, website development, and secure server costs. A real palaver having to download an app to book the event, particularly as it was a work event and the authorisation security would not work with out company system. I therefore had to download onto a personal rather than work device, technically breaching company policy. So I needed permission. Took a full day to sort and really took the fun out of it. Great for gigs and events etc but not sure the system is set up for professional work events.

You can locate your order using our handy order finder tool in which you have the ability to resend your confirmation email (https://bit.ly/3WmjLTr). From this email, you can download your tickets as a PDF. Within a few minutes of buying tickets I realised I had bought the wrong ones but, despite numerous attempts, I found no way to cancel them. Online purchases have a cooling off period, as far as I am aware, but it doesn’t seem to be available for these. Unless I get a refund, my money is wasted as I will not be using these tickets

Told to arrive 20mins early to be left standing still not on at 10 past the hour, finally on the ice at 20mins past the hour to be then told time up at 40mins past the hour! 20mins skating for such an expensive price! Boots r blunt and ice is not the best, and space for changing in and out of boots is definitely not big enough! Very poor experience for the monies paid! Definitely recommend booking M&Ds which is half the price and a much better experience.

I paid but can’t access the tickets and the email confirmation is not enough to get you in so will probably have to miss the show There’s no help it’s all those chat robots and it says you need adobe to download the tickets and that’s too expensive for me

No disclosure that there was a £2 booking fee as part of the price, that on top of the mandatory "rapidscan" fee which infers you will be fast tracked at entry to the event. Absolutely vile business practise and I will avoid whenever possible.
