Hi Trevor, Thank you for leaving a review. The event organiser gets to choose when tickets are released. This is to avoid duplication and touting. Once the tickets have been released, all you need to do is click on 'Download tickets as PDF' on your confirmation email. Thanks, LB Skiddle Customer Support

Hi, It covers providing the scanning technology used to produce and validate your ticket quickly and efficiently at the event. As you can appreciate without charging a fee we, unfortunately, wouldn't be able to operate. Thanks, LEB

The booking process forces you to agree to sign up to marketing emails rather than otping out so currently break GDPR legislation

It didn't seem a bad system until I tried to work out if I had printed the tickets correctly. It isn't obvious if I have printed one of each or one twice.

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. If you have purchased two of the exact same ticket types for the exact same event, you PDFs will look similar, though by looking at the barcode number, you will be able to see if the tickets are different. LB Skiddle Customer Support Team

Offered tickets with no problems and happy. Obviously unsurprisingly didn’t mention other places / sites to get cheaper tickets. Also doesn’t mention you have to download proof of purchase (was hoping to be posted a physical ticket) to be able to present at the door when required. Not bad but not good in my opinion for whatever it’s worth ✌️

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. I am not sure if you have purchased these tickets through a separate link, but Skiddle will not advertise cheaper tickets elsewhere, as we are our own ticket retailer. If you had found cheaper tickets elsewhere, then I would've advised purchasing from elsewhere. Skiddle does not set the price of the tickets, this is done by the event organiser. In your confirmation email, it is stated: 'Please note: this email receipt is NOT valid for entry. Scroll down for tickets' You have to access the barcode of your ticket for it to be scanned upon entry. Your confirmation email explains how to access your tickets. The delivery method of the tickets is chosen by the event organiser and is typically now RapidScan E-tickets. Upon checkout, you confirmed the delivery method of the tickets. Hi Christine, Thank you for leaving a review. Skiddle has a timed checkout of 8 minutes. Timed checkouts are common amongst ticketing websites, so that tickets reserved for customers who don't complete the checkout are released back on sale. This ensures that all customers are given an equal opportunity to purchase tickets. We recommend having your card details nearby or saved on your device when purchasing. It was easy to buy the tickets but a real pain to get them...I don't have a printer, why can't they just send the tickets by post or to your phone without having to tell them your life history and get there app. Will only use again if there is absolutely no other option. Poor

I don’t like that you have to download an app to ge the tickets and that more personal detail was requested even when details are available by Apple Pay

I wasn’t able to find where to remove rapid scan payment after paying a high booking fee I didn’t appreciate another fee!

Hi Nicola, Thank you for leaving a review. Booking fees are charged simply because we pay the full face value of your ticket back to the event organiser. A booking fee is added per ticket and is calculated as a percentage of the face value. It's always displayed before you add any tickets to your basket. The booking fee is the margin that Skiddle applies in order to cover the cost of providing a secure ticketing service. This includes overheads such as debit/credit card processing fees, VAT, customer services, call handling, account management, administration, website development, secure server costs and profit. The RapidScan fee covers the overheads incurred by dispatching the order or providing the scanning technology used to produce and validate your ticket quickly and efficiently at the event. As you can appreciate without charging a fee we, unfortunately, wouldn't be able to operate. However, we can understand that you'd like to pay as little as you can for your event tickets so we always aim to keep our fees to a minimum. LB Skiddle Customer Support

Booking was easy enough, but being stung with a nearly £50 booking fee plus a handling fee is outrageous.

Skiddle may in fact be the now only booking system on-line but it all seems geared at 'smartphone connectivity Which I simply don't like or have ?

I don't like using apps, trying to print off at home was difficult, I suppose it was made that way? Don't like having to print off lots of coulour along with the ticket, which in reality is just advertising.

I tried to order two tickets for a Peter Bruntnell gig. Having got through every step, I pressed 'Pay', only to be told that because I'd been inactive for eight minutes I was timed out and would have to start again. Absolute nonsense - there wa no delay at all.
