It is good that Skiddle exists as a platform providing ticketing for independent artists, but I had several issues: 1 - It temporarily disables the Windows scroll-bars on a PC, making it hard to navigate the site. 2 - The ticket doesn't mention the start time for the event, or the price of the ticket 3 - After the addition of a booking fee and other costs, a ticket advertised at £10 cost £14.20 - a 42% mark up - and you then had the nerve to request a voluntary donation for your pet charity!

Hi John, Thank you for your feedback. In order to combat ticket touting and unauthorised duplication of tickets, you may notice that your Rapidscan barcodes have been suspended. ​ This is done by the event organiser and not Skiddle. Skiddle are unable to release your tickets to you any sooner than the date and time stated under your order. Please check when your ticket(s) can be downloaded. This can be up to 1 day before the event. To check this, visit the 'tickets' tab on the app and click on your event. Alternatively, visit your order history on the Skiddle web page. Hi Miriam, Thank you for your feedback. A booking fee is added per ticket and is calculated as a percentage of the face value. It's always displayed before you add any tickets to your basket. The booking fee is the margin that Skiddle applies in order to cover the cost of providing a secure ticketing service. This includes overheads such as debit/credit card processing fees, VAT, customer services, call handling, account management, administration, website development, secure server costs, and profit. Delivery/processing fee: This is the second fee applied by Skiddle and covers the delivery of your order, either using the Royal Mail network or via our alternative options such as eTickets or RapidScan tickets. There is only ever one delivery charge applied per order. This typically ranges from 50p to £1.50. The delivery/processing fee is displayed at all times of the checkout. MK Skiddle Customer Support

I was on the waitlist for an event but didn't get told that tickets were available. I managed to get two, but only by refreshing and checking the site myself.

Hi, As the link is a one-time link if you click on this multiple times it will not work. If you have been unsuccessful in purchasing tickets through the waiting list we would recommend rejoining so if more tickets become available you may have a chance to repurchase. Falsely advertised. Advertised as £10. It was actually £12 with a booking fee and another compulsory fast qr code fee

Very poor experience. Bad UI. Integration with PayPal was dreadful. Transaction timed out and was automatically cancelled as it took so long. I had to verify with PayPal that I hadn't been charged. I then had to go through the whole dreadful process again. Fortunately it was quicker as the previous field entries were stored in my browser. One extra star as at least I know my ticket will be available as a PDF.

After logging onto my account I could go no further due to "too many cookies" - dam Monster. Had to tackle purchase by going to an email and using the link to Skiddle which logged me in straigh away and alllowed me to purchase. Bit of a faff, time running out, death around the corner - why am I wasting time with this too?

You can locate your order using our handy order finder tool in which you have the ability to resend your confirmation email (https://bit.ly/3WmjLTr). From this email, you can download your tickets as a PDF. Sorry to say, but disappointed with the online booking system. Wouldn't accept password to logon, even though it was correct. Followed instructions to reset password....which I did, and got same result, wouldn't logon. Tried again and reset password again, still no good. Ended up ringing Skiddle. Yes, we are aware that some people have had a problem, don't use that link, use this one and no.....can't purchase tickets over the phone. After fourth (and final, I decided) attempt it went through and I was able to purchase my tickets. Big glitches somewhere and it really needs investigating.

This means the promoter creates the event listing and is responsible for informing customers about their events. Process of booking tickets is easy enough however, to charge a booking fee per ticket and then a further transaction fee is excessive and puts each ticket cost up by at least 15% per person. Disappointing for this service.

Booking fees are non-refundable - this is across the board with all booking platforms. However, Skiddle are one of the only platforms offering booking fee credit on a future purchase and further information about this can be found within your automated refund email. The information that the event I booked for was an total over 18s event needs to be much more clear when buying the tickets - I booked to take my 11 year old and now I can’t and she’s gutted - you only have a minimum time to complete the purchase so under pressure the tiny writing was not clear enough at all - very disappointing

I'm sorry but really didn't like this platform. Asking for my date of birth, so many questions to tick answers for ... 🤦 It's just a simple theatre ticket I'm after. And no straight forward way to retrieve ticket either, asking me to download app or having to answer further questions to get to the pdf of my ticket. .. Everything just sooo complicated.

We have brought in this feature to help event organisers collect guest information if they need to get in touch with you. This was originally a feature to assist with COVID-19 track and trace requirements. Event organisers may still use this for a multitude of reasons, for example: to contact the person attending the event who may not be the named account holder the ticket is purchased under.
