I feel like it’s false advertising with a good price for tickets at a reasonable price. I was in the waiting room an hour before and then placed in a queue. I was only queuing for a few seconds but had to purchase 3rd tier prices.

Hello Emma, Thank you for your feedback. Please be aware, no matter how early you enter the queue, all customers are then randomly allocated a place once onsale begins. This is promoter fairness for customers. If you would like more information on this please see the below FAQ: https://help.skiddle.com/en/articles/6115728-why-am-i-given-a-random-queue-position-i-was-in-the-waiting-room-very-early-shouldn-t-i-be-first The event organisers are responsible for the allocation of tickets per tier, therefore it may have been that limited tickets were allocated for tier 1 and tier 2 so by the time you were able to purchase your tickets tier 3 were the next available. Very disappointment day Wasted 3 hours queuing up for some nice food that was meant to be Caribbean food cookout festival but by time we got to the front there wasn't really any food left and the chicken was still cold even tho it had just came out of the BBQ, the music wasn't loud enough to hear from a distance, also there was one music stage which wasn't great and needed alot more food stalls and enough food also the weather wasn't great but that not down to you guys as you can't help that. Bad experience

The flyer for the Karaoke cup says tickets £5 but fails to mention the £1 booking fee PER ticket.

I did not have the best experience using this booking platform, hence the 2 stars. However, the communication with customer service (once you were actually able to communicate with a human being) was quick and honest

Not a great experience. I've had to fight my way into your website as the emails you sent regarding my booking lacked basic information (it was payment confirmation only). The UI is not intuitive for finding one's own account page. Everything is super sales-orientated at the expense of usability, which I will remember next time I have a choice over whether or not to use Skiddle.

Unnevessarily complicated and just an unnecessary addition to all the ticketing software thsat has veenb tried, The few good ones work because they dont fill our pohones up unnecessarily - and have standard ways of doing things> Yiur system is just designed to be incompsatible with what customers are familiar with and can easily do.

Hi Sian, Thank you for the feedback. Booking fees are charged simply because we pay the full face value of your ticket back to the event organiser. A booking fee is added per ticket and is calculated as a percentage of the face value. It's always displayed before you add any tickets to your basket. The booking fee is the margin that Skiddle applies in order to cover the cost of providing a secure ticketing service. This includes overheads such as debit/credit card processing fees, VAT, customer services, call handling, account management, administration, website development, secure server costs, profit, and a few tea bags for staff brews! Awkward to access booked tickets, why can't the actual tickets just be emailed to me, rather than being emailed a link to then have to enter access details, faff I don't need.

Took me 3 tries before I could get to the payment method I preferred. By that time my 8 minutes was at an end, so I gave up trying to navigate the site on my phone. Left it half an hour & tried again on my iPad Pro which was much more straightforward.

Bought a resold ticket from skiddle and purchased the insurance option to cancel if I could not attend. However when looking through ticket details, it told me I wouldn’t be able to sell the ticket, so paid for the ticket insurance for no reason unless event is unlikely cancelled.

From this email, you can download your tickets as a PDF.
