Not easy to use, very clunky. Couldn't print of tickets until day before. DSifficult to find where to download location for tickets. No information as to start time. Generally not user friendly, also unnecessary personal information requested. Won't be using Skiddle again.

Hi William, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Skiddle is a platform for event organisers to list and sell their tickets. This means that the event organiser gets to choose when barcodes are released. Many promoters choose to have a delayed barcode release to avoid ticket touting and duplication. The location of where you download your tickets is situated at the top of your confimation email, similar to other ticketing companies. We also have plenty of FAQs on our website to assist you with this. I have had a look at the event listing for the event you have purchased tickets for and can see that it states the doors open at 7:30pm. This can be seen in the event description, and is information provided by the event organiser, as they create the listing on Skiddle. Skiddle only request information that is necessary. This includes name (for the ticket), address (for potential delivery and security if you need to contact Customer Support), phone number (for urgent communication regarding your event and security) and email address (to receive e-ticket and communications). I was online waiting for early sale tickets. That and midsole were gone for the sale starting at 10am and we were almost 15 extra per ticket.

Despite using Skiddle regularly during 2022, it appears I was no longer a customer and have had to rerister whih I find disappointing. Further, I have only just been informed of Martin Kemp on Hastings Pier next July and my friends knew about it in December - and got cheaper tickets as a result. I cannot rate highly under these circumstances and feel I have been ripped off to an extent

Hi Carol, Thank you for leaving a review. I can assure you that if you have made a Skiddle account previously, that account will still exist, as only you have the authority to delete it. Please ensure you have used the same email address to log in as you did to register. There are features, such as Remind Me, on Skiddle where you can set reminders when tickets go on sale. I tried to pay for a ticket, but it didn't go through first time, said it had timed out. You should provide more time to complete the transaction.

Hi Angela, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Skiddle provides an 8 minute time frame to purchase your ticketsin. This is similar to other ticketing websites. We have this time limit to ensure all customers get a fair chance of purchasing tickets, and so that tickets are re-released to waiting customers if not purchased. Password wasn’t working, which meant I had to do the forgot password option which then had to go back into the que which meant I had 5th release tickets instead of the 3rd release so had to pay a hell of a lot more. Tickets should save in someone’s basket.

I'd much prefer access to the tickets earlier than two days before the event. Things can go wrong and need time to correct.

I tried multiple times to book tickets and had them in my basket however the wrong postcode kept auto-formatting in, which I had to keep changing. Then it wouldn’t let me physically add my bank card details. Myself and my husband tried so many times that in the end, we missed out on the cheaper tickets so the whole process cost us time and more money.

I am unsure whether skiddle got a say so in how many enchanted garden ball tickets someone could buy, but if they did (which is what I heard), it is a disgrace given the number of people who will now be reselling their 3 extra tickets for massive markup to students who don’t have the extra money to burn. This should have been well thought through and has now made the event less accessible. Furthermore, the society pre release codes are just pointless, especially if you have been queueing for a normal ticket, as you would have to wait 15 minutes to buy standard release by which point 1) people have bought multiple society tickets using easily obtainable codes through connections, or 2) get kicked out due to not buying a ticket for ten minutes. The two stars are for the quality of the platform itself, the queueing system worked and the checkout was easy to complete.

Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. A booking fee is added per ticket and is calculated as a percentage of the face value. It's always displayed before you add any tickets to your basket. The booking fee is the margin that Skiddle applies in order to cover the cost of providing a secure ticketing service. Booking fees are non-refundable - this is across the board with all booking platforms. However, Skiddle are one of the only platforms offering booking fee credit on a future purchase and further information about this can be found within your automated refund email. Found the process hard as I already was registered but needed to change my password which took too long and I missed early tickets I ended up signing in as a guest to make sure I got the next time

Easy to buy the tickets. Last minute purchase. Printed off but would not scan at O2 Academy Bristol. Delay getting in while they checked emails, payments, confirmation etc. They agreed tickets looked genuine and eventually let us in. Kept tickets to contact Skiddle's. Not sure if fault lies with Skiddle or O2 Academy.

Hi Mario, Thank you for your feedback. The barcodes that are generated when you purchase tickets from Skiddle are unique to each order and will permit you entry to the event. It is the event organiser's responsibility to be able to scan these correctly when you arrive at the venue, I am glad that they permitted you entry to the event as there is no reason why they shouldn't have. I only found out I had problems with purchasing some tickets made last October 2023, when I checked my credit statement and the transaction was not listed in December. So I tried to redo the purchase but the ticket prices went up as it “second release”. Contacted the Festival company. They checked and could see the transaction. So I had to redo it at the increased price.
