We are not sure about the comparison with Amazon as we try and distance ourselves from the giant corporate American companies taking over the world. Im glad though to see we saved you £263.40 off the price of the tap and managed to deliver it within just 3 working days. I'm sure you will agree, not too bad for a little independent company based in York! Unfortunately I cannot recommend the company - my interaction with them has left a bitter taste I'm afraid. Positives - the sink arrived undamaged via quick delivery. I believe this is to the credit of Reginox as it is dispatched straight from them. Negatives - unfortunately the sink looked different to how it had appeared on the website. I expected the edges of the sink bowl to have a sharper appearance, but the actual sink has very curved edges with a large lip. I suspect the images of the sink have been cropped everso slightly too much, but what I felt to be a unique appearance of the sink is why I bought it over other models. So, I was disappointed and wrote to the company. I used both email addresses on the website (one in the returns / T&C section and the other on the contact page.) One of the email addresses I used I typed incorrectly, but the other was definitely correct and I still had no reply in 10 days, so I had to chase up. I did receive a reply to this email - I appreciated them starting the 14 day returns period from this date, but on the other hand it is only reasonable as it took them so long to reply to my initial complaint email and supply a returns number and returns details. I asked twice about the possibility of collection (at my expense of course, but in order to use a courier sinks-taps recommended) or an exchange, but this topic was ignored. I would urge prospective purchasers to beware - there are some dubious clauses in their T&C, such as taking no responsibility for errors in product descriptions on their website (really?!?!?!?) and recipients needing to inspect and raise issues with goods within 24 hours of delivery... All in all very restricted and one sided. There was no concession at all about the fact that the sink looked very different to the pictures on their website & how I had expected it to be. Be aware that to return a sink via a pallet service will cost just under £55, and it is hard to find a service which offers the correct insurance with lighter sinks... which may be a prohibitive cost depending on purchase price. Some may feel I'm being harsh (they delivered a sink was in good condition, quickly, though it didn't look like the pictures I based the purchase upon) but I felt let down by this experience. Communications are slow, required chasing and there's certainly no warmth or 'extra mile' attitude. I'm now stuck with an expensive sink which wasn't what I expected visually and no sympathy or support from the company... just disappointment and a returns form. Cannot recommend based upon my experience I'm afraid.

Hi Sam Its incredibly disappointing to have received a negative review. Your original email was sent to the wrong address, hence the reason why it wasn't picked up quickly. When we did get find your email to another address, as a gesture of goodwill we reset the return window, giving you an additional two weeks to return the sink. We also replied to you on a Sunday evening at 19:42 (out of hours, whilst staff were trying to catch up with emails). We delivered the sink free of charge and whilst I can understand you would have also liked us to have collected the sink at our cost, I'm afraid this would just not be possible. The sink you ordered had a 360 degree video which showed the exact detail and design. We don't therefore understand how the one you received could be seen as being different. As we gave additional time for the return, advised on the return delivery and emailed you on a Sunday evening, I feel we did actually go the 'extra mile' Im sorry you feel differently and can only apologise if you feel the service we provided wasn't up to standard.

I would not buy anything from sinks-taps.com. I ordered 2 sinks that were showing in stock and delivery with 7 days. No delivery so tried to contact them, but no phone lines active. Had to email, but nobody returning emails within a reasonable time scale. I eventually got an email back after emailing 3 different addresses, telling me that they had no stock. They offered alternative sinks which were surprisingly more expensive and not suitable. Asked for a refund didn't hear anything so had to on the online chat which again took ages. Got through and managed to get a yes for the refund but no email confirmation of refund and would take upto 28 days for the refund to be processed. I eventually got the email confirmation and the refund. Extremely poor service, they obviously haven't got enough staff working for them or they are just not bothered.

Dear Zoran I'm sorry you feel a 1 star review is appropriate, based on the following: Im afraid the information you have provided is incorrect. You first emailed on the 17th September and we replied on the 18th September. A second email (on the same day) that we sent to you offered a similar alternative product. Later on the 18th September you declined the alternative and asked to cancel the order and wanted a full refund. The refund was logged on the system and although refunds can take up to 30 days, your refund was completed within just 7 working days. A full refund was given. We are working with very limited staff and some of those are working remotely. However, to say we are not bothered is not fair and especially in the circumstances highlighted above, neither is it accurate. We appreciate it is frustrating when a product is not available and can only apologise for this. Stock is moving by the hour and most manufacturers are now struggling to even get stock into the country before the end of the year. These are certainly unprecedented times and I am sorry that you feel we have let you down. I can assure you that our team care deeply about Customer Service levels and are doing their very best in difficult conditions.

Had we known you needed the tap sooner than this, we would certainly done all we could to change the delivery method for you. If you do require a last minute product or special requirements, please contact us prior to placing the order and we will do all we can to ensure the order is delivered on the exact day required.

This is the 2nd time I have purchased a sink from SINKS-TAPS.COM. First time the product and delivery were spot-on. That's one reason I've come back for a 2nd sink. Easy website, excellent prices, great makes, comprehensive choices really, everything you could hope for when buying on-line - are the others.

Could not be happier. I ordered the Caple Novato pull out sprat kitchen tap on 27th September, it was delivered on 1st October. Pretty good service by anybody's standards. The packaging was excellent. The product is stylish and extremely well made. Installation was not a problem. The price was £50 cheaper than any other company. My wife is like a dog with two tails, she doesn't know which to wag first. I can't thank you enough, kindest regards, Dave Gardner. My order No. was 9947972.

Rude delivery driver delivered sink in a haste. Few weeks later my kitchen fitter opened the box to find the sink was broken. Contacted sink-taps.com and was blamed for breaking the sink and was told that there is nothing they can do. Appalling customer service. I do not recommend at all.

Dear Mrs Ahmed I'm really sorry about this issue. The problem was the sink was delivered by specialist pallet delivery service and accepted as being in perfect condition. Almost 1 month later you reported that the sink was broken in half. We send a pre-delivery email to say products have to be inspected, we fasten a notice on the sink to say they must be inspected and our terms and conditions that you agree to says to check the sink on delivery as claims cannot be accepted afterwards. That said, had the sink been inspected within a few hours of delivery, we would have had a chance to raise a claim. The delivery company have advised the sink was delivered in good condition almost 1 month ago and you signed for the sink to confirm this. At no point in the last month have you contacted us about the delivery driver. This was never mentioned until now. The email you sent about the broken sink was responded to within just a few hours. Other than the fact we cannot simply replace the sink, I'm not sure why our immediate attention would be classed as appalling Customer Service. Obviously we are really sorry that a replacement sink cannot be simply provided free of charge, However as a gesture of goodwill we are able to offer you a replacement sink at cost price, if required

Ordered a sink and tap from this company, the sink was incorrectly described as black on their website and was actually grey. Returned the item at my own expense (After them charging me £22 for delivery!) Fast forward nearly 3 weeks later and still no refund onto my credit card, tried to call and for some reason, despite everyone else in the country back at work they still have their call centre closed due to COVID so no way to get in touch with them other than email. Emailed and told that I would have to wait 30 days(!) for my refund, despite them receiving and logging the item nearly 3 weeks before, which is unacceptable in the current climate. Poor customer service, would not recommend this company.
