Rude delivery driver delivered sink in a haste. Few weeks later my kitchen fitter opened the box to find the sink was broken. Contacted sink-taps.com and was blamed for breaking the sink and was told that there is nothing they can do. Appalling customer service. I do not recommend at all.

Dear Mrs Ahmed I'm really sorry about this issue. The problem was the sink was delivered by specialist pallet delivery service and accepted as being in perfect condition. Almost 1 month later you reported that the sink was broken in half. We send a pre-delivery email to say products have to be inspected, we fasten a notice on the sink to say they must be inspected and our terms and conditions that you agree to says to check the sink on delivery as claims cannot be accepted afterwards. That said, had the sink been inspected within a few hours of delivery, we would have had a chance to raise a claim. The delivery company have advised the sink was delivered in good condition almost 1 month ago and you signed for the sink to confirm this. At no point in the last month have you contacted us about the delivery driver. This was never mentioned until now. The email you sent about the broken sink was responded to within just a few hours. Other than the fact we cannot simply replace the sink, I'm not sure why our immediate attention would be classed as appalling Customer Service. Obviously we are really sorry that a replacement sink cannot be simply provided free of charge, However as a gesture of goodwill we are able to offer you a replacement sink at cost price, if required

Ordered a sink and tap from this company, the sink was incorrectly described as black on their website and was actually grey. Returned the item at my own expense (After them charging me £22 for delivery!) Fast forward nearly 3 weeks later and still no refund onto my credit card, tried to call and for some reason, despite everyone else in the country back at work they still have their call centre closed due to COVID so no way to get in touch with them other than email. Emailed and told that I would have to wait 30 days(!) for my refund, despite them receiving and logging the item nearly 3 weeks before, which is unacceptable in the current climate. Poor customer service, would not recommend this company.

Paid for next day delivery of a kitchen sink well within the 1pm cut-off time. Didn't arrive. No response to email chasing it. Arrived the following day, no apology and no refund of extra monies paid for non-existent next day delivery. Useless.

Order placed on 23rd August. Four weeks later and I have received no goods and no communication whatsoever. Logged into my account, which was set up when I placed the order and this shows order is still “Pending”. I emailed over a week ago and still no response. Would appreciate a reply asap!

I haven’t received my products yet despite ordering on the 25th of August. They currently do not have anyone to answer the phone and I am yet to receive a response to my email sent over a week ago.

I have place an order on 30/08/2020. My order no is 9946118. However today is 7th Sept and I have not got any delivery confirmation. It could be better if you kindly send the filter cartridge on time. Also the phone no given in the website is not working.

Still waiting for my customer's tap which I ordered and paid for 4 weeks ago. No contact, offices closed what ever time of day you call, customer now has no tap and I will have to purchase another for her at our cost is someone doesnt respond to my emails asap...

Took the money even though the item was out of stock after several attempts at communication said the accounts deot would refund in 24-48 hours and 14 days later after once again going on live chat eventually got the refund. Very very poor service and why take money knowing the item was out of stock

Hi Mandeep. The tap you ordered was showing as a manufacturers delay of 6 weeks + However Abode advised the factory had closed without sending any stock out and the delay had been extended. We did send an updated email on 12th August to advise of this. I'm sorry about the inconvenience caused and of course the delay in providing a response by email which was caused by the temporary closure of the office, for the safety of staff.

Ordered a tap 5th August with expected delivery of 8th. Now the 13th and no delivery. Phones are not manned & no response to 2 emails. Appalling customer service. I want to cancel the order but can't see how I can even do that.

awful company to deal with put tap inside sink box which damaged £350 sink and would not take responsibility for it and stopped replying to emails

Hi David You returned an item and in normal circumstances the refund would be completed automatically within 30 days. However, you didn't want to wait and instead raised a dispute with Paypal. This just complicated the issue as we have to provide proof to Paypal that we had supplied the product etc. We completed the Paypal request and the refund was then completed automatically.

I placed an order with this firm on June 24th of this year. They acknowledged my order immediately and that was the last I've heard from them. On July 8th I emailed them to inquire about the delay in sending my order but again, nothing. Fortunately I paid with Paypal and I'm now in the process of looking for my money back. Please don't order anything from this company, they seem to be either badly run or simple gangsters

Dear Mrs Heaton. We did send a previous reply to advise the factory producing the wire baskets had closed down and provided an alternative to consider. We have emailed the details again. Please check your spam/junk folder as it may have gone into there!

Taps arrived with wrong tail pipes. So unable to fit taps. Customer support promised replacement pipes would arrive next day. 16 days later they still haven’t shipped. We had to go and buy alternate fittings to install taps.

Hi Barry. I'm really sorry. We requested the correct parts be sent direct from Abode to you on the day you requested. They confirmed that parts would be sent and we have not heard anything since. I can only apologise for the inconvenience caused. Its incredibly frustrating for us also when we have arranged for the parts to be dispatched and the company we are reliant on fails to send them or let us know of any issues. Again, please accept our apologies.
