“Disappointed, loading onto containers for storage was fine. Once I had a moving date they did not have the staff to deliver my furniture, this was inconvenient and costly, I couldn’t move into my new property and I had to continue paying for storage. On the day my furniture was delivered, an awkward place for delivery, they had to carry items approximately 50 yards from the lorry to the front door and only 2 men. At one point they emptied the container onto the busy public pathway, people were walking around my furniture and touching it, anything could have been taken. A wardrobe and lamp table were damaged my sofas had to be cleaned, they are handling everything with dirty hands. I have since had them repaired. I did not report it from past experience it’s very difficult to claim damages from insurance company’s an added problem at a very stressful time. My furniture was not expensive but it was valuable to me. I have moved many times in my lifetime this was a most stressful experience I will not forget. I would never use this company again and most certainly never recommend.”

“I was extremely pleased with the efficient way in which Simon Long Removals dealt with my recent move. The office staff were very friendly and helped me a great deal in the initial stages. The removal men were a friendly crew and made my move go smoothly everything I asked of them they obliged. If I had to move again I would have no hesitation in hiring this firm and I will certainly recommend them to anyone who is planning a move. Well done Simon Long removals. Barbara Kiddle (Mrs)”

“Very professional worked very hard, impressed how much stuff you can get into a van. Would have been 5 stars but for a slight mishap with a jukebox (no damage done)”

“I was really impressed with Simon Long Removals. This is the second time I have used the company and both times they have been friendly, efficient and professional. The three removal men were extremely helpful on the day and, although I was stressed, they helped to make everything run smoothly and the move went extremely well. I would definitely recommend Simon Long Removals.”

“Overall the service was good. The removal people were prompt and friendly. They looked after our things well. However, our main criticism was that a lot was left in the old house. Mugs, tins of paint, ladders, kitchen things and other items. None of these had 'not for removal' labels so we are not sure why they were left.”

“Very helpful company. Survey of goods were done courteously and efficiently. 12 boxes for us to pack were delivered on time but we soon found we needed more. That was no problem and we soon had another 30. The team of 3 turned up on time and swiftly and safely packed all of our goods. they were finished by midday. The new property was only 15 miles away and by the time we collected the key from the estate agent the van and crew were waiting for us ready to unload. Unloading was completed safely and the crew were away by 5.00pm. We found no breakages. Very easy move for us. All of the boxes were collected when we had finished unpacking. No hiccups at all. We didn't shop around for a cheaper price and were happy with our quote.”

“We contracted Simon Long to pack & deliver our complete home. They arrived exactly as promised the day before the actual removal, packed everything with the minimum of fuss & the next day loaded their vehicle by lunch time, delivered to the new address & completed delivery by 5pm. We were completely satisfied with the standard of work & the friendly & helpful attitude. We have no hesitation in recommending the company for the friendly & helpful attitude from first telephone contact until completion.”
