“The data portal is just not really useful. It might be ok if the data going in were even remotely accurate. You can get better stats on free apps.”

“I bought shotscope H4 Handheld (with connect tags). Unfortunately I am unable to upload my rounds as the app keeps telling me there's "a fault which shotscopeis trying to rectify". I have tried contacting shotscope customer support but have heard nothing back from them. This is so disappointing as the main selling point for me was the ability to track progress over time. Very very disappointed! Would return the product if I could as its only 2 weeks old & not functioning. Very disappointed that Shotscope are not supporting customers! I am hoping that they may deal with this issue if I send a review!! The product simply not doing what it is supposed to do.”

Hi Regina, I am really sorry about your issues and the delay in getting back to you. There was a technical issue due to switching email providers recently which meant we were not receiving all emails. This has now been fixed. I can see a support agent is now helping you with your H4 issues. I hope we can sort these for you.

“Great item but only issue I've had is the syncing of the rounds into the app as there seems to be an error everything I try to upload to phone, which is quite annoying but hopefully this issue is sorted”

“The Connex/ShotScope product when it works gave me great feedback to my golf game. However, on the two rounds I tried using it, I spent more time trying to undo the darkness feature the App would place my phone into then using the information it provided. On the second round I got so frustrated by the app placing my pnone's display into extremely dark that I stopped using it. Even when turning off the Power Save feature, the App placed my phone's display into extremely dark so you couldn't see anything including the home screen.”

“The sensor in the watch quite often doesn't pick up the tag as I need to add the missing clubs/shots on almost every hole. The watch strap us totally the wrong way around so makes putting it on awkward however the functionality and the stats it can provide are great. I can see clearly where my game is trending and what need to be worked on. I really enjoy the strategy option and is great when I am going to play a new course. The one payment for the kit and to have access to the app year on year with no extra cost is brilliant.”

“The only issue is I have with the watch is probably the brightness of the screen It’s a small gripe but everything else upto know is great It’s comfortable to wear not big and bulky The best thing I like is the amount of information after your round you can see distances for every shot taken Fairways in reg greens in reg And while plating knowing how far hazards are and flags is invaluable”

“Shotscope is a great concept - but unfortunately this comes at a price ! I’ve had a V3, bought when they came out, for just over 2 years and the watch strap initially broke after a year ( you need the electronics in the strap for the tags to work) and they replaced it immediately. The strap broke again just over a year later and the company informed me they have stopped making the V3 straps and the watch is out of warranty. FYI Helpdesk was great and responsive in both instances - but there was little they could do out of Warranty. Hence love the concept of shotscope but I’d factor in that you have to buy a new watch every 2 years @ ~£200. Real shame - but I’m going back to my Garmin.”
