The part was obsolete but thanks for the prompt response. Such a shame we are needing a new cooker and the old one will be scrapped due to abroken door glass.

Apart from the cost of the component the 4 it was a pretty poor service. I enquired after approx 3 weeks and was told there had been delays but when the delivery was expected to be 5-10 working days it’s quite poor. 4 week wait time for a sensor is not what I expect from you. And if that’s the case I should be informed of the delays without having to chase you.

UK Whitegoods offers an absolutely fantatsic service! Our Britannia Duel fuel range oven is almost 20 years old and has rarely caused any problems until recently. It started tripping the main RCD on the our fuseboard. The cause of the earth leak was simple to identify by isolating the heating elements and testing them with a megohmeter insulation tester (cost £21). Whitegoods UK supplied 2 x replacement heating elements and the oven is now working perfectly. This simple repair has saved us £1000s that we might have have spent on a new range cooker!

If I could give a zero I would. BUYER BEWARE. According to the returns policy, if you open and try to fit a part, you will not get a refund. The part I ordered had -01 on the end of the number. The one they sent did not have the -01 on the end of the number. It did not fit. When I emailed to say they had sent the wrong part, they replied saying it was the same part, even though the website clearly lists them as two different parts. I said it didn't fit my appliance, even though the part description said it was compatible. They said that manufacturers update their parts all of the time and it wasn't their fault it didn't fit. I was left with a £50 part that didn't fit. If you look at other negative reviews you will see their replies have a theme. It is the buyer's fault. I judge a company by their attitude and ability to solve an issue when it goes wrong. Hence a score of Zero! No doubt they will reply to this review by saying it wasn't their fault.
