“Ordered a small fridge part - catch for the freezer compartment door. It was the cheapest - plus delivery was free - but might take up to 7 days. Part arrived after 2-3 days. Worked out about half the price of other sites I visited, who all charged for delivery. Result - although I still feel £4-96 for a wee bit of plastic is still a bit steep ;-)”

“The man that answered my e-mails never called me John, Every e-mail opened with ' Hi ' . His writing skills were poor and at times confusing. I bought two units and neither helped my problem £ 90 wasted. They also make a big deal about NO RETURNS. Its an awful service and I will never use this company again. They also don't answer the phone, apart from that its a great company !”

We don't tend to call anyone anything; it's a standardised format from the support system. Writing skills are checked by Grammarly, so it's hard to understand how there could be an issue there. However, the parts that you ordered were special non-returnable items as is explicitly stated; why you ordered more than one is beyond us, but the original fault remained, which points to an incorrect diagnosis, not a problem with the parts supplied. And as explained, we are not able to offer you a diagnosis; if you need that, then you really need to employ a professional repair person. It is incredibly unfair and unreasonable of you to try to hold us accountable for an incorrect diagnosis, and we only supply the parts, we're not here for any other reason.

“After searching unsuccessfully for replacement fronts for my Diplomat freezer drawers I contacted UK Whitegoods for their advice about the problem. I received a prompt reply telling me that the replacement part was no longer available and they had searched unsuccessfully for an alternative replacement. I very much appreciate their help and have tried to repair the drawer fronts with some success. I sent my enquiry over a bank holiday weekend and received a reply as soon as was possible when the working week resumed.”

Sadly we are seeing a lot of this just now with all that's going on; it's been in the news a lot, where makers' prices and transport costs and so on are being increased randomly and without notice. The part you ordered we can't even buy at the old selling price now. Unfortunately, it's something that we have to live with, all of us. And it's is completely beyond our control.
