“I contacted UK Whitegoods to ask a question and source a spare part. I was 9mpressed with the speedy response and information offered. They also have the required part in stock so I will place an order should I decide to go ahaed with the repair.”

“Excellent service throughout........both via email when I was first enquiring about hinges for my fridge and latterly when I visited their shop in Kilmarnock. The two guys in the shop checked my faulty hinge and took time to explain the differences between several very similar looking hinges before making sure I left with the correct replacement......cannot thank and recommend them highly enough.”

Sadly that is a factory order item that we did tell you, quote: "No problem, neither have been used in at least five years so factory order but neither is all that expensive, the 33 item they call a "neon lamp holder" and it's less that £10 but again a few weeks from point of order" So from the get-go, you knew it would be some time; we did warn you of this. And that order was only placed on the 23rd of March so we're not even two weeks into that now. However, not a month as you suggest.

“No real advice or support given, instead I was linked to an article which would scare people and add doubts to their ability to repair their own items, thank god I didn’t listen to the advice of the fear inducing article as I would have been out £hundreds.”

Yes, as you asked for a compressor relay that the manufacturer does not sell as a replacement spare part, as advised. We merely told you that and pointed to an article that explained why.
