“I found the UK Whitegoods website easy to navigate. I was looking for a small replacement part for a Smeg range which I didn't even know existed and was pleasantly surprised to find it with ease on the website. The delivery was slightly delayed but that was due to the carrier. I would recommend UK Whitegoods to anyone.”

“I made an enquiry ref availability of an obscure part and was advised the part was likely to be available and if it were to come available the cost would be prohibitive. Just as I suspected but allowed me to convince the customer their appliance was not repairable.”

“As stated on the website, delivery takes a while but the parts were branded and obviously original manufacture; everything fitted perfectly. The part was also sensibly packaged. If you're in a hurry this might not be the best choice but to be fair there were ample warnings about potential delays - my order took two weeks to arrive but was not urgent anyway.”

That can happen when you ask about alternatives for parts that no longer exist when there are not any that can be used. If there were, we'd have been happy to sell you one. You just refused to accept that.

“Very good. A friend installed the shock absorbers in our 20 year old Miele washing machine and it is working perfectly again. And for less than 20 quid ! Bargain !”

“Made an enquiry regarding a replacement fan oven element for an oven manufacturer which went out of business 15 odd years ago. Sent an email with the details and some photos. The response was that the part is obsolete and no similar parts are available. I decided to search myself and quickly located a part from a Rangemaster which was identical to the part I needed and must have been used in the original oven. Bought the part locally and fitted myself. Disappointing as I thought I was going to the experts in spare parts.”

It may have worked and good for you but, they went bust, there's no info and therefore we'd not be able to tell you if any part would fit or be safe. An RM element may well fit it but, safe... no idea.

“Searched for weeks to find out problem with my fridge freezer making knocking noise. Found an article on their site with link to spares to fix the problem. Replacement PCB capacitors were less than half the price of anywhere else and arrived next day - More importantly fixed a problem I had been trying to sort for weeks.”
