“Excellent service. I did not get the part I wanted but there was a full written explanation of the history of my appliance and the fact that it has been obsolete for some time. A further email explained that there was no possibility of finding a universal replacement for it.”

“The initial response was good, but I needed to know if you could get the part I required, but stating "Anything that is still available we can get" was not helpful.So I sent another email off with the appliance name and how old it was, and again asked if you could get parts.I'm still waiting, and its been a couple of weeks.You see,it's no good me getting someone in, who charges a big call-out fee,then finding out the parts are no longer available.”

We like to sell parts. We don't like telling people things are obsolete or unobtainable and, it's not in our interest to do so. So when we do say that, we kinda mean it.

“I had a problem with our Samsung American Fridge Freezer frosting up and was having trouble diagnosing what was wrong. I stumbled across UK Whitegoods' fantastic fault-finding section which led me to the device's built-in error reporting. That gave me the confidence to order the spare part, a defrost heater, which otherwise would have seemed a bit of a gamble. The part was reasonably priced and arrived within about three days. It wasn't super easy to fit and again the UK Whitegoods' website came to the rescue with a very well-illustrated and well-explained "how-to" section. The upshot is I spend about £40 instead of hundreds; one VERY satisfied customer!”

“I was very impressed with the service I received from UK Whitegoods; my enquiry was dealt with the next day. The part (a fridge door lower bottle shelf for a Lec under-counter larder model) was identified correctly and the price quoted was very reasonable. “I needed a certain part for a candy washing machine. Your company offered a find the correct part service. I sent a message and within a few hours came the suggested part. This I ordered and it arrived quickly and securely and the machine was back in use within an hour . How good is that Service. I would not hesitate to use this company. A big thanx”

Ahem, it's not because we weren't going to lose a sale or not get one, it's because you were asking us about something that we do not do,m have no involvement in and therefore we couldn't advise you. The hood you have is ancient, from the 1990's or earlier so all parts are obsolete, can't help you with that as nobody makes them any longer. We don't sell hoods or have any knowledge of new one so, we can't help you with that either. We do what we do well, we don't do other "stuff".
