“Contacted Whitehouse to help me source a part for my 7 year old Beko washing machine which needed new bearings. Whitehouse explained in great detail that manufacturers are building machines which cannot be repaired in most cases. In my example, the bearings are now moulded into the frame which holds the drum, so it is no longer cost effective to repair simple bearings. Gutted, but grateful to receive this information, I bought a new machine with the longest warranty I could get!”

“Good experience with this company so far always answer your emails and very knowledgeable told me exactly what I needed to repair washing machine and said the spider in my machine was updated absolutely brilliant I bought the genuine part and was delivered in 9 days”

“I ordered a part that the Whitegoods site showed as being compatible with my product. The part arrived and whilst it looked similar did not function correctly. When I contacted them regarding this issue I was told that: 'Knowing Samsung, the part number will have been changed a few times and, many retailers make up their own numbers so you can't price compare, a thing we do not do' 'They don't even use genuine part numbers so you can't price compare so there's actually no way to check what they give you is correct or not. ' 'So, getting to someone with actual technical knowledge is nearly impossible for most members of the public.' ......bah! Everything I can find online indicates that the website is inaccurate. Whitegood has been unable to provide information with providence that the website is correct. The website led me to order a part that is not compatible with my freezer and will not allow the part to be returned for refund. The part supplied is not fit for the purpose it was supplied for - which is to replace the model specified on your website. It is not as advertised. I am left consulting with my credit card company and trading standards - AVOID!”

You ordered the wrong thing, tried to fit it even though it was obviously incorrect and only then decided that it might be a good idea to ask. In the meantime, probably wrecking both the part you bought and the machine you attempted to fit it to. Up until the point at which you realised your errors, we had zero involvement, so it really wasn't our error at all though you seem to want to blame us for your mistakes.

“Great service, as always. Can I let you know what great service that I have received from Kenneth – via email this week - and David and Alastair – in the shop today, the Friday before Xmas. I ordered the wrong elements – my fault - and when I went in this morning to see about getting the correct one, the guys in the shop could not have been more friendly or helpful. Prior to that, Kenneth was great via email. So Xmas here has been saved and I’ve been saved from a bollocking by my other half. I’ve dealt with you guys for over a decade and tell everyone just what a fantastic service you deliver. PS. I was tempted to give 4 stars as the email that I received asking to submit a review started "Dear Ms -,"”

“The correct part was identified; turned up OK and was fitted the same day. I was a little concerned when I noted who the courier was considering their reputation. Had I known I would have happily paid more to ensure an earlier delivery but it arrived just in time, so no harm done.”

“I needed some replacement parts for my John Lewis range cooker. Its designation did not show in the list of stoves. However, I was directed to find the registration plate (?) on the stove. I did and once that detail was communicated the parts I wanted were highlighted in the reply email. I didn't have to enter it myself. great time saver. All reply email communications were almost in real-time. It felt like I was live chatting, excellent communication and the 'help' was spot-on. I will be back and I will recommend UK Whitegoods to all who need it.”
