99% of the responses were from other brokers, not actual shippers. I did not want to use a broker to find me brokers, who then find me shippers. I wanted to find a shipper. I wasted a couple of hours trying to find out if the bids were from the actual shipper or a broker, but almost all were brokers.

I feel that it would be in the best interest for Shiply to collect the funds in advance and then give the clients a code to give to the shipper when the delivery arrives to prevent possible fraud between the parties. For example our shipper, that we choose, indicated to me that he had been burned several times by clients and I think that's sad. However in the meantime I wasn't feeling too comfortable paying him directly, in full, until my shipment arrived. Anyway in our case we worked things out and I would definitely use him again. He was very professional.

Horrible website. Doesn't convey info inputted to the vendors. They ask all the same questions the website should ask for but does not. Cannot communicate anything with numbers for it thinks it's a phone number and that's not allowed. In all very difficult to use.

Instead, please click "Edit" to update the listing with the correct dimensions. I received a number of quotes to transport a motorcycle from Spain to UK. I chose a quote of 655 GBP. I accepted the quote, Shipley asked me to pay 165 GBP to release the contact information. The transport company´s fee is 490 GBP. Shipley get 165 GBP. This is 33% fee, an outrageous amount to act as a computerised agent middleman. OK, it is efficient, but the fee is exhorbitant.

It was helpful for getting lots of competitive quotes, but drivers were v slow to respond especially after the first message or two. Poor communication caused major inconvenience downstream so - not recommended for that reason.

Shiply has a BIG problem with dishonest brokers who will offer you a price, have you wait the maximum allowed pickup days (1-5) then turn around with cookie cut excuses about driver issues. In addition, these SCAMMING brokers will try to get you to pay additional money to what was quoted. Shipy currently have no mechanism place to stop of discourage this behavior so it continue to happen to customers trying to move their cars. I know because it happened to me 2 times in a 2-week span, AMERICAN_WHEELS & Supertransport786 who still have not refunded my booking fee. Shiply's refund process is very slow and they have method to ensure that you receive the booking fee. I will be deleting my account after this review never to return to this platform

Please note we do not allow couriers to charge extra on top of the quote you have accepted unless there are additional items, change of address and other things that are stated on their Terms and Conditions. I coordinated a GUARANTEED pick up and gave them two days in which to complete the pickup. Pickup was supposed to be early in the morning. It was a no-show in the morning. Was told driver was there…he was not. Said driver would be there late afternoon. Driver never showed up. Ruined my ship opportunity. This was my second attempt using Shipley. Do not recommend.

Placed order which was fine then received confirmation but after that no contact from courier via email and phone numbers don't work to contact them. Then 8 days later a different courier name to booked txt and wasn't sure if spam then collected item again no contact number. Item did arrive but not impressed with the service.

Hi Such waste of time and very disappointed.. People send quote and then when I accepted they told me they can’t do this .. and prices been given mistakenly or error… I am very frustrated.. and this the case always … please tell your drivers and peoples when they gives prices then please stick with there words and prices… please … Thanks

This was my first time using Shipley and I appreciated the ability to receive quotes from different carriers for the timeframe I needed my vehicle item picked up. It was great that there were so many shipping options available that the customer could check out each company’s reviews before accepting who they wanted to contract with. For that reason, I would recommend this company. However, upon acceptance, their contracted carrier (Load-Makers) initially informed me that their drivers usually take 1-5 days for pickup. I informed Load-makers that I needed my item picked up on a specific date and they had agreed they would make every attempt to have a driver there on that date. They later informed me that yes, they could have someone there that day, but it was now GOING TO COST MORE than I was originally quoted. Due to the short time to find another carrier, I was obligated to pay the extra charge on top of the quote I had accepted. This decision severely eroded my respect for Shiply’s network of carriers. I did not feel that I had requested any additional items, didn’t change either address or any other thing that was stated in their Terms and Conditions. Additionally, the driver was late picking up my item which became an inconvenience with me having to make multiple trips to the pickup location. For this reason, I submit an overall negative review to make other customers aware of these unfair practices and poor customer service.

You cannot see courier contact details to check if he is available the day you need , until you pay 10€, Then you get the contact data. That is not nice , as you expect to have the item delivered in 3-5 days, but it is not assured. I will not use your platform again. No way. I felt exposed to uncertain dates to deliver the item. In my case, it was needed to have soon. Then I arranged to have it delivered on a later date. Your web is not good, there are no comunnication visible to concrete a date to pick and deliver before you pay. I will not recommend it to any one. I will search for local couriers in the future, or one of big companies as K&N, MRV, SEUR, DHL, At least they are there when I need to contact them. Sorry , Sorry. Bad experience with your platfomr. Not with the courier, he managed to have the item well.

We had a delivery of 2 sofas today and the service was pretty bad they said there was no way that the larger sofa would fit through the door I told them to take the feet off (I have no idea how to do removals but it was common sense I’m a 63 year old woman) and then they said it still wouldn’t go in I told them to put it in on an angle (it went in and I helped them squash the arm of the sofa through the door) I was then shut outside while they struggled to get it through the living room door so never saw the struggle with this. They said for an extra cost they would have took the sofa apart 🤯. The lady that sent the sofas to us was under the impression that they were a removal company. Anyway it was delivered and it should have been a much less stressful experience than it was!!

I received my motorcycle undamaged cost more than quoted but I received it 5 mlles from home had to take Uber to pick it up at truck stop would never use again.

While I did get my vehicle, it took longer than it should have. I was quoted 1 to 5 business days. It ended up taking 10. I can understand that drivers are busy but I felt this was unacceptable. And I ended up paying almost $200 more than what I was quoted for the transport. And considering the delay, I should have gotten a discount.

Auftragsvergabe funktionerte insgesamt ganz gut. Aber die Funktionen des Portals sind stark verbesserungswürdig. So funktionierte die Registrierung mit Passwort wiederholt nicht, die Menüführung ist unübersichtlich und unlogisch, im Nachrichtenverlauf mit den Anbietern waren die Nachrichten nicht chronologisch sortiert, u.s.w., u.s.w.

I was disappointed with Shiply due to last-minute changes in pickup times as well as misinformation about the initial deposit payment, delays in sending the contract, errors on the contract, and failure to provide a shipping document at the time of pickup. Although I ended up with an excellent driver who gave superior service, I would not use Shipley again.

Was told driver would be there to pickup the vehicles on 7/11/2024 around noon. Received a call around 4 pm that day that there was a delay and could move to the next day with guaranteed pickup in the morning since we were the first ones then. We ag reed and then from there on out the experience was subpar to say the least. The driver stopped responding, hung-up on me, and no one could tell me when they were arriving. They did not show up until 7/12/2024 at 9pm. Never got a call that they were on their way or anything and had to just hope they picked it up as we had to leave. Very unprofessional and disappointed with how it all played out since at the beginning they seemed like a great company. On top of that, their driver never called for delivery and drove through our lawn which will be quite expensive to fix since it had just rained quite a bit. The plus is that the vehicles did arrive with no issues for the price that was quoted.
