The Service provided, of finding a convenient transportation company, is excellent. The online platform provided is very good and easy to use. I am surprised by the German customer service, when I wired the deposit twice (after having received an error message after the first time and seeing on my bank account that both payments did in fact go through). When asking for reimbursement, I was told I had to first send a photo of the items to be transported (utterly irrelevant), and was then sent on to the HQ. They reimbursed immediately, still it was surprising and slightly annoying. Everything else was great.

Considero que como la gestiòn la realiza Shiply, tambièn tendrìa que realizar el cobro total del servicio aceptado por el cliente (de todas las propuestas recibidas); no teniendo el cliente que hacer pagos parciales a diferentes actores y en diferentes momentos de toda la gestiòn.

Transporters need to be better vetted. Solicitations from transporters and asking for payment up front and then “No Call/No Show”

Best quote for 2 pallets from Leicester to London £212. Quote direct with a pallet courier £170. Quote to deliver an internal door 5 miles across London £60, hiring a van by the hour £11. I never find good deals via Shiply. That said, I don’t doubt it’s great ‘service with a smile’ because they’re laughing all the way to the bank.

Confused that you complete all the information about your vehicle and the dates you would like to ship but still the 50 plus quotes I received asked those questions. They only knew the from and to locations I entered not the item and dates? Guess Shiply does not provide that to the shippers or the shippers don't take the time read the request? But all 50 plus asked for that information even though I included it on the initial application form including a photo of my motorcycle with model etc.. Also 99% asked what kind of car it was? I chose not to use any of the shippers since my date requests from pickup to drop off had a 2 week delay request in-between since I would only be in both towns on those weeks I requested. They all wanted to make an asap delivery which normally is great but I could not be in both towns that fast due to my schedule.

Was asked to pay full amount via card payment before my package was even picked up ,let alone before being delivered.

If a payment method makes you uncomfortable, you can choose another provider. Additionally, providers with less than 6 months on Shiply are only allowed to collect full payment after a successful delivery. You should have an option for a delivery going both ways - the system you currently have is slightly confusing for someone who is using it for the first time.

Good idea of the platform but what I didn’t like was the haggling about my first payment. I got ditched by the first contractor and Shiply didn‘t believe me and I had to write numerous mails to prove my honesty.

I was pleased with the number of bids and the carrier selected - however - I think Shiply should make it more clear that the "deposit" is really their (10-15%) commission that they receive upfront - and does not go to carrier. For that fee of e.g. - $200 they should serve as a better liaison between buyer/seller/carrier to ensure there are no issues and to facilitate a smoother process. It is also cumbersome to communicate with Shiply as they do not take calls - rather you have to communicate via text and it is a slow process. While they do provide issue resolution - it would be nice to be able to speak with a rep to expedite matters.

This platform is really good however, they charge nearly a third of the amount you pay in total services which is too much in my eyes.

The broker working under you , ask for more money than the bid then they said driver needed more . I click on a 1047.00 dollar bid snd Shiply took 203.00 the broker said she needed a 100.00 and then she came back and said the driver needed 1250.00 so my cost came out to be 1553.00 , also comment was made i could try and get my money back from Shiply and book This was not clear at all , and feel as if the broker cheated me into raising the rate once load was booked, bid low then raise price.
