I requested quotes for a pair of cars in an enclosed carrier. Every response I got was for an open carrier, which then forced me to reach out to every individual company directly to get a real estimate. Took too much time and don’t get the job done. I ultimately had to call a reputable car delivery company who got the job done with one phone call.

When you are using Shipley you are open to scammers and a very slow response from customer service so be warned

I went with Shipley because of their great reviews. My experience was not so great. On their notices they warned not to pay the car shipper in advance. The only hauler the company chose wanted upfront payment. This never happened on another site. Then Shipley said, oh that is just a standard warning? I asked to cancel and have my deposit refunded, which they offered to do. Then they wanted to apply it to credit for the future.

I have been canceled last minute twice in a year or so. Additionally, several people quoted me, and I accepted after paying a down payment, but then they canceled. You are at the mercy of email to get help. Today I had to pay another down payment to someone kind enough to help last minute, and Shiply only gives credit. I do not want credit. This is my last try with Shiply. Occasionally you get someone really good, but not worth the hassle of those who cancel.

Shipley is no more than a front portal taking orders, it manages to stear well clear of any issues, prefering to wash it's hands and see the Client work things out with the Courier. The invoicing system is terrible, Shipley invoice there Commission and if you are realy lucky the Courier will give you an invoice for the remainder. What comes out of all of this, is that it is so important to use only those Couriers with 100% Feedback, because Shipley is no help at all. Mr Spence Eng ApartmentsWales

Had a Petrol Lawnmower deliverd found throttle cable linkage broken neither of the delivery men could speak English when they knocked my door they just grunted and pointed parts for this mower are not cheap so I was best not pleased

Didn't get what we were looking for. Very disappointing with the decision taken with my dispute with PIVS. The transport provider is unprofessional. Shiply should not take quotes from them to protect others from suffering and pain we have gone through by not getting our full refund form PIVS defaulting the service we paid for. In short, we paid to deliver our car to Edmonton and instead came back to us in Toronto after 29 days!

Contracted carrier did not speak English used google translator. They were not professional mover. Motorcycle was placed inside the front of the 30’+ trailer when picked up but was moved to the very back of the trailer. This tells me my Motorcycle was dragged. My three storage boxes were scratched and my motorcycle gear shift is not functioning properly. Lastly, I was given an option of paying by money order upon delivery buy the driver demanded cash. I ended up using Zelle to pay. The only positive was the guys were nice and the Florida to California delivery was quick.

I have tried to use shiply twice. 1 time was the distance was over 90 miles and i have been quoted reasonable £225~. Second time was 11 mile distance and i have been quoted £210~. Ridiculous this is. Nothing else.

The carrier I contracted had multiple issues and failed to deliver because the driver was cited as “out of service” by DOT 70 miles from my home. I ended up driving my trailer and equipment to pick up the load. Shiply did not stand by me and would not offer even a partial refund due to my horrible experience. I would not use this company again.

Becareful of the bid you accept, make sure there are contracts to be signed and read the fine print. Shiply doesn't stand behind anything besides their deposit and they don't refund your deposit, just a credit to roll the dice with someone else.. if one bid is way cheaper than the rest its probably a scam.

Gut nur wenn alles glatt läuft. Bei Fragen oder Problemen sollte man es nicht zu eilig haben. Kontakt nur über online Tickets deren Beantwortung bei mir fünf Tage gedauert und fast eine wichtige Lieferung verhindert hat. Wichtige Infos zum Ablauf der Buchung kommen nur nach der Zahlung. Leider kenne ich keine bessere Alternative.

For over 10 days I am trying to receive an invoice with VAT for the paid provision to Shiply for the transport we booked via Shiply. With the information that replies are done mostly within 48 hours, this is a "pretty" poor turn-around.

My first try was a bust because the selected shipper didn't have valid insurance. I had to call the insurance carrier myself to check on this, Shiply had not verified. The shipper was representing that they had valid insurance when in fact they did not. So I terminated the shipment. The second try was a success, the shipper was great, and Shiply correctly applied a credit from the first try so I didn't get double charged their fee. My strong advice: do due diligence on any shipper you select. Get their insurance and verify it. Get the driver's license and verify it. Don't rely on the green check marks provided by Shiply or you may get an unwelcome surprise. Also, know that Shiply is charging a fee, the selected broker also charges a fee, and what's left goes to the actual driver. This is a very inefficient market where 40% of the fee is going to middle men while the driver only gets 60%. I'd have gone direct to one broker or shipper had I known better.

Tolle Plattform, Keine Rechnung für Anzahlung Leider haben wir für die an shiply geleisteten Anzahlungen keine Rechnung erhalten. Die Kommunikation mit dem deutschen Kundendienst endete mit einem Hinweis wir sollen uns an den Kundendienst in London wenden. Die Bitte den bisherigen Schriftverkehr direkt an London weiterzuleiten wurde ignoriert. Das ist schlechter Stil. Jetzt sind wir mit London in Kontakt. Ergebnis noch offen. Als Plattform für Autotransporte von A nach B absolut empfehlenswert. (5 Sterne) Einfache Menüführung und ausreichend viele echte Angebote von Transportunternehmen.

Poor experience with courier company Desert Eagle, did do Shiply any favours, time scale in communication poor, time scale and reliability in collection and not a great turn around time in delivering, over all not a great experience.

Beware of the lower bidders. Furniture arrived scratched, reeking of gasoline, and after three days of promised, then canceled, times of delivery. Due to aborted delivery times, I could not be home for delivery. Mover did not know what he was doing, and scratched my wood floors bringing in the piece.
