“I wanted to open an account for my son as my other children qualified with the government payment for investment and didn't want my youngest to not have anything when he turned 18. I like the fact that I opened this account and could pay monthly with as little as £10 a month as we don't have much money to save. It was so easy to open the account and feel much more at ease knowing that I am now saving for my child's future.”

“I was looking for a way to save money for my 7 month old son so when he was older he could access the money to get a car / use the money towards a deposit for a house etc. I came across Shephards Friendly who were able to offer me exactly what I was looking for for as little as £10 a month which is fantastic as I am currently still on maternity leave so I wouldn't need to worry if I could afford it or not. I had also had several family members telling me they would give my little b0y money for Christmas rather than buy him presents so when I read that they could transfer the money to the account if set up easily I was over the moon. The account also gives me peace of mind as it cannot be accessed until my son turns 18. Overall really pleased with the services the account comes with and how easy it was to set up !”
