“I would recommend Shepherd Chartered Surveyirs. They responded politely and prompktly at all times. In particular they helped with website issues. The Eeprt produced was comprehensive with no hidden charges. Job well done, thank you.”

“The survey seemed adequately detailed and informative, but the valuation felt low at the time, has subsequently proved to be, and as a consequence gives rise to a hefty Captial Gains Tax on the gap between their valuation and sale.”

“Very professional service - the surveyor knows the Aberdeenshire housing market and had been to my property a few times in the past so I felt confident the survey and the market price was fair and he could appreciate the property and any changes that had been made. The survey itself was quick and efficient and conducted in a very professional manner. The online system they provide for completing the property questionnaire and downloading documents seems very efficient. However, our online payment was rejected several times and in the end, the payment was taken over the phone and that worked well. I would recommend Shepherd Chartered Surveyors.”

“The entire experience went very smoothly indeed. The surveyor contacted me promptly, arranged a suitable time which was convenient to me. He surveyed my property in a very professional manner and explained the process going forward. What didn't go well was that three times the SurvPoint website rejected my payment, thus delaying the availability of the report. Eventually I had to ask my estate agent to make payment on my behalf.”

He had a thorough knowledge of the local housing market. The property was sold on the first day of viewing. Well done to Shepherd.”
