“After being told I needed to be here for delivery, I waited on for 3 days because delivery kept changing. Eventually the shed, on pallet, left in the middle of my drive. Noone knocked, or I would have asked them not to block me in. Instructions are ok, but I have been sent all the wrong screws so can't even put the shed up! It's a lovely shed but so far has been nothing but trouble.”

“I can't say I'm impressed..do I definitely won't be winning. Tried many (5) times to pay by credit card and was contacted to say I could pay by bank transfer. Not what I wanted to hear to be honest as I wanted the protection . P ayed by PayPal in the end.”

“I would recommend not purchasing any shed from this company, as this was not value for money,due to design flaws and lack of ease to erect. Better sheds and cheaper sheds can be found elsewhere.”

“We purchased the 16' x 8' Combi Potting Shed with Side Store; we received the materials as needed on the agreed upon date, so they were punctual. BUT after only about a week after our shed's completion, the winds completely toppled it over. (For something of this price and claimed quality, we would expect it to withstand most weather conditions, particularly given other DIY structures in the area were standing.) Nevertheless, even with the understanding that sometimes our structures are no match for Mother Nature, we are disappointed with the lack of willingness to provide any sort of help or compensation in trying to address the issue. As a small social enterprise creating a community-led market garden to provide affordable food and growing education to marginalised South Londoners and other communities in need, the potting shed is a necessary component of our operations and its collapse presents a significant blow to our minimal budget, tight staffing capacity, and a fast approaching planting season. We are still pulling teeth trying to get any sort of help with this, but optimism continues to shrink :(”

“Pretty disappointing really, I realise they are not the most expensive sheds but I have had to purchase some decent timber to trim the roof panels out around the edges as there is nothing to fix felt to, bought full length cover strips for edging rather than use the ones supplied as they looked awful in small bits. Had to use the felt supplied but will probably replace it as soon as I can as it is so cheap and nasty, tares very easily. Had to take doors off to refit them properly and took the opportunity to replace the hinge screws as they were already corroding. Wil be adding extra frame work to the doors and try to put some sort of rebate on as well. Delivery was good and all on one pallet but couldn't get a time or definite day despite being told I would have to be in to accept, luckily I was working at home. Incidentally I am a joiner by trade, I couldn't make a shed like this for the money but feel it could be improved with a little more effort.”

“Sorry but I was really disappointed with my shed. Some of the wood panels were broken during delivery which I only realised after he'd left and the panels were extremely thin and poor quality. The roofing material was very thin and easy torn and the tacks provided next to useless, I had to go and buy better ones. I ordered it from a picture and realise these sheds are cheaper than many but this is of fairly poor quailty IMO.”

“I ordered the pro-base, which according to the website is the best. Plastic squares which lock together. I followed the instructions supplied, laying small pebbles over the membrane, then the squares on top. Unfortunately the squares don't lock together and there was poor guidance on how many stones would be needed, so I was short. I paid for the full fitting service - the fitter said the base was totally useless, not stable enough to take the weight of the shed and the floor would quickly cracked. He supplied me with a custom made one. The shed itself (Hartwood) is excellent and John the driver who delivered it was so helpful. I don't understand why Sheds.co.uk sell both plastic and wood bases which are unfit for purpose.”

“Delivery was on time and communication was good, after that is where the problems start. Panels are not square making it impossible to build, parts damaged, missing parts. Called customer service advised to email photos and will take 2 days to get a reply. This is just not good enough. The quality is poor for the price. Paid extra for pressure treated floor support and superior roof felt, and you would not know this this was of a superior quality.”

“If only they would pay attention to detail this could be a good product. Poor workmanship in assembly reduces this to less than bad value for money. I spent many hours correcting the errors, from overhanging boards to un square panels. The flooring panels left gaps up to 5 mm wide when joined. And the 2 ft flooring panel was 20 mm wider than the rest. The roof panels don't fully close together at the apex and had to be modified. The so called instructions on line were worse than the assembly instructions you get from a Chinese product. Various knots that had fallen out where poorly filled with a sud standard filler. I won't be recommending or buying another.”

“Where to begin?! Lead times - ignore them. Ordered at the start of August so I had plenty of time to construct over my school holidays, arrived 5th September. First contact to chase was rather dismissive with me. Second contact didn’t bother to read my email correctly. Let’s talk construction. Instructions are terrible. Nothing is labelled so you need to measure everything to make sure it’s the right screw length timber length etc. sections are combined together instead of being clearly stepped. Screws seem a little light on the ground so we added our own to make things more secure. One panel we had was missing nails as the nail gun had clearly run out and no one had noticed. All in all it’s a cheap shed which will fit its purpose but a disappointing lead time - just tell me it was going to be 5 weeks - and you need some knowledge of how things go together to be able to make it as the instructions are just laughable.”

“I placed an order for a shed accidentally the reverse apex instead of the apex. I contated sheds.co.uk the same day and 4 days later they have still not managed to change the order as promised and send me a confirmation email. Not the best customer service so far. Concerned about the installation service moving forward.”

“my new shed arrived today 15x7 pent roof. i was told i would get a phone call to arrange delivey. this never happend, the shed just turned up on a small lorry 2 big heavy pallets 350 kg each at least. with nobody there to take delivey. The driver had no way to unload them with some luke a local farmer was near by and help with loader to get them off the lorry. now they are 500m form where we wanted them due to their very poor comunications. i was very specific when i rang up to order the shed about delivey arrangment and was told they would ring to confirm. didnt happen. not ahappy customer, i just hope its a good shed once we finally get to put it up.”

“The products is AWFUL .Poorly made .There are gaps between the boards, nails coming out the wood , some of the wood is warped and twisted. It's nearly impossible to put it up !! The instructions are generic so they're useless. I had to ordered another one from somewhere else. I DO NOT recommend this shop. Two stars for delivery as arrived earlier than expected and iv3 been generous.”

“Online ordering was a disappointment as the webpage for my product showed delivery in 1-2 days which was important to me but as soon as I got to the purchase that changed to 2-3 days.... It was Wednesday afternoon and I wanted it for the weekend when I'd have help to put it together. So to check I phoned the help number and they suggested it's likely to be 2-3 days with delivery more likely on the MOnday. Oh well, hoping for possibly 2 days I placed the order. Unfortunately the email confirmation confirmed delivery for the Monday after the weekend and the help line, with the benefit of the order number also confirmed the Monday delivery. So I made arrangements to go out on the Friday before the weekend. Yes, you've guessed it, half an hour before leaving on the Friday a van arrived and the driver said 'I've got a pallette for you' (he didn't know what was on it but it was the shed) so luckily I was able to take it but if I'd left a bit earlyer they'd have had to take it back. Very poor coordination between all parts of the organistion but all's well that ends well I suppose.”

“Order the arch from this company on the 4 th June as it said it was in stock. Message from forest, a few days later, to tell me there will be a delay. Another message to say It will be available from week commencing 20 th June, and they will be in touch with a delivery date. No such notification. I came home this afternoon to find it propped up against the house. I could easily have stayed at home had I known about the delivery. Won't be using this company again. Sheds just take the money, then rely on the the manufacturer to do the rest. The measurements of the arch are some what exaggerated in the picture. The width of the uprights are barely 4 cm x 6 cm. And this is whilst they are still damp. When dry, there will be shrinkage.”

“The quality of the floor is horrible, you go around inside and the floor is going to break/sink. The instructions weren't very explicit no numbers on the wood to make easy to know where goes were. All screw's where together where to use what.”
