“Easy to use website with lots of custom options!”

“Really disappointed in this purchase. I paid £359 7th July for a Yardmaster 6’ x 7’ Apex metal garden shed. I didn’t get a confirmation email to say thanks for the order and confirmation of my order number either. This worried me so much I thought the website was a hoax and worried I had made a big mistake. With lots of emails to Sheds who acted on behalf of Sixty Stores I was given an invoice number, and felt some small relief. Communication with Sheds was done via email but I eventually got through via phone and was promised and email to confirm the order which only came through after a further two phone calls a week later. It was made difficult to communicate as I only had an invoice number to hand. I appreciate it’s a busy time for sheds but it took about 3 to 4 weeks to arrive despite the 7 to 10 days quoted on the web. I still don’t have a complete shed after firstly the fixtures and fixtures or installation instructions weren’t delivered with the unit. This took a week to resolve the bolts. I bought and paid for a shed and base: I presumed the base was in one box and the shed in the other. I have had to again contact Sheds again today to advise once I had got the shed put up that now there’s no base. To say the least I am disappointed. The shed looks like in the ad but difficult and very time consuming to assemble.”

“Fabulous company to deal with. Slick amd efficient set up. Having had a horrendous experience with another company these guys were the polar opposite. The delivery guy (steve) was superb. Every point of contact has been faultless. Cannot find fault with this company.”

“The updates regarding order/delivery were good, I was kept informed regularly. The delivery agent was superb. I wish there had been a little more useful information on the website regarding construction, a short video would also be good.”

“A huge range of sheds, but the search facility lets you search by many factors - we found search by size really useful. Sending the instructions ahead of delivery was also great as we could ascertain if we'd be able to assemble ourselves or not.”

“The Summer House is fine. Beware booking installation, small print - may be 21 days after the shed is delivered - so you will need somewhere to keep all the panels etc dry. It also asks you to check that the hundreds of pieces, screws etc are all there before they construct. I had to construct it myself in the end as they didn't arrive. I wrote a letter about this to the CEO but never received the courtesy of a reply. Shame as the building is ok.”

“Found the size I wanted, (5x3) looks reasonably sturdy, has not arrived yet but there will be a delay in delivery at my request. I needed to know whether this was possible and phoned customer services, a long wait first time I tried but second time was quick. The gentleman I spoke to was helpful, now I await and I am looking forward to the shed”

“It is quite a good site, but has some usability issues. The clickable links which are the titles of the sheds are one of the smaller text elements, and it is a struggle to work out where to click (I was expecting the title under the picture like most sites do). It is also too difficult to filter to find the size of shed I wanted and that could be improved.”

“The sheds.co.uk website is clear and easy to use. There is a simple search facility to help find the items you are interested in. Prices and sizes are marked clearly. The one improvement suggestion is that it could show a plan view of the shed so you know which side has the door on and which is the long side.”

“Fast and free delivery the driver was helpful and the product was spot on plenty of screws and all the parts were perfect no problems or issues, If you have a modecom of DIY knowledge you can do these mine was the summer house with veranda I put it together with my wife in around 5hrs all told”
