“Done bits of shiplap broken and had to do a bit of fettling to make done parts fit.”

“I ordered the shed because of the 2- 3 days delivery.The tracking service does not recognise my consignment number so it doesn't look as though it is on the way.Late delivery means that I will.have no one to.put up the shed as the gardeners will have finished and left. This is a problem for me and I may end up cancelling the order.”

“Phoned Sheds.co.uk to order and was told to place my order online. Did so. Website works well enough. Been waiting for details of my shed delivery since Friday. Bank holiday weekend but still on Tuesday lunchtime my TPN tracking data is not updating. No idea when I’m going to receive my shed. Not ideal as It’s for a client. TPN are supposed to be award winning. Also was not given the option to choose a delivery date at point of sale. Was promised 1-3 working days. We’ll see Can’t comment on delivery or quality of product as not yet received but sounds sturdier than average. Hope so…..”

“My call to customer service was answered promptly, but the information that I was given, namely the box I was purchasing would arrive unassembled but that it would be be simple and easy to build was totally unrealistic. It took an experienced handyman nearly 2 hours to build the box and the instructions were not particularly helpful.”

“The web site and staff made out that purhasing the shed and base would be all I needed. When the lovely installation chap showed up he was not pleased. I apparently needed extra support timbers etc to make sure the shed base didnt sink and to spread the weight evenly. This was not explained by sheds.co.uk and was rather naughty and a waste of my and the installation chaps time. The shed though not set up correctly is great, but had I not followed the chaps advice regarding extra timbers then the shed would have sank and the door wouldnt have opened etc.”

“Ordered a 14×7 ft pent shed. Came quickly and well packed. Main issue is that the instructions are generic for all shed sizes, and for large sheds like I had there needed to be additional guidance and pieces to allow a proper roof. The roof should have had single 7 foot pieces to allow a solid structure. Instead 3 foot and 4 foot pieces were provided. This causes a dip in the roof which isn't strong and doesn't look good. I used several pieces of 9 foot felt strips on edge to get 7 foot structures to support the 3 and 4 foot pieces. I did email the company (who did respond very quickly) and they noted they provided extra posts for support (which is true) but these were 6 foot and so not long enough for the 7 ft wide shed. Other than that, shed is good.”

“Ordered a shed, installation and booked an installation date only to be told by the manufacturer that the installation date can’t be met! This is why I chose this shed. Not a happy customer but waiting for both Sheds.co.uk and Forest to come back to me with a solution in my timescale or my refund. We will see……”

“The shed was OK. The instructions leave a lot to be desired and it was not an easy job putting it all together. The windows in particular were difficult due to the wooden battons not being the right size and they needed to be cut to size.”

“Pleased with overall look of shed,however flooring was 2 inches too short! We had to buy another piece of wood extra to the other bearers. Having done this it solved the problem and everything fitted ok.”

“The quality of the shed is not the best. The cladding is light and some parts snapped during construction. No felt supplied meant having to go and buy to make the shed watertight. Not enough screws were supplied to complete the task as shown in the instructions.”

“The website has worked well however they outsource their delivery and apparently this then doesn’t come on the agreed date… still awaiting the shed hence sitting in the middle… it could be great or terrible at this point, who knows.”

“I had to chase delivery after ordering as the company did not get in touch after I placed the order. Delivery itself was good and the delivery man helpful (although I didn't get a call to say he was on his way to me next as indicated).”

“Low price but some problems found when assembling. Firstly, no instructions provided. Eventully received but very general i.e. not specific to the purchase, so vague in some areas. Found that the base dimensions did not exactly fit the top structure so some adapting required. Overall I am satisfied but left with the feeling that going for the lowest price probably not the best idea.”

“Website is fine. Shed provided by forest life was a substitute for the one ordered and had some poor quality timber pieces that had clearly been noticed but bodged into place. Disappointed.”

“Website good. Ordered my shed late November most of it arrived when stated in December got the fixtures and fittings ( hope they're all there ) in late February, still awaiting the base to put it on and a refund for erection that should of happened before Xmas, so I can pay a local company to put it up.”

“I’ve not received my item yet so I cannot review the quality. However, the ordering process was not the best experience. You’d expect delivery would be given at time of ordering. I had to wait for an email with a link which did not work. I then had to phone to arrange delivery. Even the conversation on the phone was not the easiest!”
