SF21470 Ordered foam based on web picture and sample when arrived it was not the same see pic contacted Customer care and informed the colour had changed and if I returned the item they would give me a refund however I would have to pay for return I explained that under The Consumer Rights Act 2015 I should not end up out of pocket for their failure they still refused to pay return item now languishing in my garage unfit for purpose

Hi Jos Sorry to hear you didn't get your package. Did you get the tracking information we sent to you when we shipped it? Not sure if it was ordered to the wrong address, but according to tracking the courier tried to deliver it twice but flagged the address as "unoccupied" so instead sent a notification that you could collect your package locally. As that was on 12th February though I would expect it's probably not there now and is likely on it's way back to us. We will send you an email outlining next steps. Hi when booking the Shadow kit I thought it was very professional till kit was sent back to Shadow foam and when I got in touch they said they would look into it they came back to me with there was something wrong with the delivery address So I asked them to keep me informed I got nothing back from them and I messaged them they answered me once then ignored the rest of my messages and I think I’ve sent three in total

Hi Mark, I can see my colleagues have tried to email you a few different times on this, most recently today, sorry if you haven't seen those messages, though I think you were able to reply to a couple. Unfortunately as they advised originally, there was a mistake / omission on the shipping address you entered when you placed your order. The result is that the courier are returning your goods back to sender as they were unable to find your address to make delivery. We've offered to either re-ship or refund the goods when they arrive back with us, hopefully soon. Thanks again for getting in touch, Shadow Foam

You are always welcome to contact our customer service team at any time and we can get issues like this resolved very quickly for you. Hopefully you got the tracking details we sent to you on 24th January? According to that the courier tried to deliver to you twice already. We will email you separately with all the details so you have them. As there was no one in to take delivery they left notification for you that your package could be collected from the post office instead, again we'll send you more details. Hi Wayne Thanks for your feedback, it sounds like you maybe didn't get the tracking information we sent to you when your order shipped? We will forward to you again on email so you have it. Hi Conrad Sorry to hear you haven't had your order yet. Did you get the tracking we sent to you back when your order shipped on 13th though? According to that, the courier has been trying to contact you as the shipping address seems to be incomplete or incorrect? As they were unable to get that resolved with you, they've been holding it at their depot since 20th. In concept it's the best idea and was incredibly exited. However in action where they say 'just peel the layer away' is a complete lie. The glue between the layers is stronger than the foam used and is near impossible to get a nice smooth layer the tool is on. Would have returned if I didn't ruin 3 of them trying every possible way to get it to go as advertised

Habe mich sehr gefreut, endlich Ordnung in die Kiste zu bekommen. Leider ist das zuschneiden lange nicht so einfach und ordentlich wie in den Produktvideos. Habe das Resultat also postwendend in den Abfall gesteckt und mir selber eine Einteilung gebaut.

I ordered from Shadow Foam a little while ago and the process was flawless and simple, but having placed another order recently I was extremely disappointed with the customer service after they incorrectly calculated the VAT on an order (I live in a VAT exempt country) then claimed that no VAT had been charged (while also providing a breakdown of costs with one line detailing 'VAT - £XXX', which was baffling) and despite assurances that it would be correctly refunded after many, many emails back and forth they've gone quiet about it all. Furthermore, I was charged over £20 for DHL delivery only to end up collecting the remainder of the consignment myself to avoid having to wait an extra day to receive it all, which would've meant a 10 day wait - I've no idea why they couldn't tape the boxes together so that they were a single item to mitigate against the possibility of the consignment becoming split. It's a shame, because the product is good and my initial experience was good, but sadly this time things were distinctly subpar.

Hi Russ, It's disappointing to hear about your negative experience with us. Having checked the ticket logs, it appears that what had happened was on the part of our payment processing & imports partner, Global-E. It was explained to you that the VAT was indeed being calculated incorrectly and we are working to resolve this issue with Global-E to get you the refund of £6.50 that you are owed in a tax refund. Due to the complexity of how Global-E operates, we cannot simply refund the amount without tax/customs implications, so we need to wait for their resolution. I do understand that this is frustrating, but in your last email to us, you seemed willing to wait for this to be resolved to "draw a line under it all". As for the DHL consignment, we need to ship orders using this method. We have found that merely taping boxes together means that the box without the shipping label can go missing if the tape breaks. I'm sure you would rather receive your full order in two pieces, than not at all. Furthermore, your stated "10 day wait", as you correctly said in your email to us, was due to a delay with DHL because of a lack of an air freight service to Jersey over the weekend. Unfortunately, delays to the Channel Islands and other non-mainland regions are completely outside of our control. As a gesture of goodwill for the issues you faced during your order, we had included a couple of extras worth over £20 as the VAT problem was caused on our end. Once we had realised the mistake on our side, we did everything we could to turn your negative experience into as much of a positive one as possible. We will use your feedback to improve our communications and systems so that this issue does not occur again. Kind regards, The Shadow Foam Team

They dont fit. Double checked the sizes and I ordered the right ones. Then I double checked with all my other packouts and they dont fit any packout I have. The ones I bought were for milwaukee packouts.

Hi Leonard With apologies it does take a few days for the goods to reach you in the US as we are based in the UK. I can see from tracking that the package landed in the States late last week so hopefully it will be with you very soon, but you're welcome to contact us if you are having problems using tracking or have any other questions at all. Shadow foam are secretive about delivery costs and demand name, address, card details etc before calculating delivery costs... whats more when you try to contact them directly about delivery costs, they mysteriously demand a 'show us your not a robot! screen which, conveniently!! doesn't work!!!
