“I am a little disapointed in the shape and size of the piece of foam I received, I was expecting 1000 x 500 mm, the piece sent to me was 990 x 490, tapering down to 480, so the piece wasn't even square, (as in an equal sided rectangle). I was hoping to fully utilise the whole 500mm of its width but I have now had to comprimise on one of the draws and not have it as a perfect fit. I would have complained prior to its use but I didn't notice until I had cut one of the pieces at 300mm. I work in the manufacturing sector, mainly 1st and 2nd tier automotive parts, everything we purchase as a raw material is usally slightly oversize and never undersize, even if you don't class this as a raw material it should at least be the size as avertised and sold. If this is normal for all of your product then it should be avertised as such, and if it does say somewhere in the small print on your website that there is a size difference in what you buy and what you get it's obviously burried deep in the small print as I never came across it. I won't be buying any more or recommending it to anyone I know. It's a shame really as it's a clever product that has loads of potential, it's a shame you feel the need to reduce the size so close to the avertised size just to save a few pence, but in doing so have ended up with a bad review and no further business. Also, don't get me started on the mess Parcel Force made of delivering it, not your problem I know but the person I emailed from your company could have been a little more helpful and courteous.”

I am very sorry that you had issues with Parcelforce, our customer service manager was in touch with you to explain that it had been delivered to a local Post Office ready for you to collect, and that was the end of your correspondence with us. However, we have had no indication that there were any issues with your order itself. We would be more than happy to replace any damaged or undersized sheets. This is clearly a manufacturing error on our part, but unless we are made aware of these issues, we cannot resolve them. “I have used Shadow Foam for about 7 years and before that used a similar product that was just black and cost more. To me thay have 3 main advantages over the competition in the UK; 1. Simplicity of ordering and speed of delivery. (Ebay, Amazon, own site, etc), 2. Custom made inserts for most standard manufacturers storage, 3. Great videos on line with instructions on usage. (You Tube, etc). Picture of my Milwaukee M12 battery storage using a standard packout case and fitted shadow foam insert.”

“I ordered a custom length of foam as an insert for a gun case. Foam arrived promptly with the tools that I'd also ordered. Good quality insert, fair price and prompt service. I would definitely recommend Shadow Foam to my fellow gun club members and to the wider public in general. A good company to deal with. Image attached, any cack-handedness is my own, I cut the foam and I'm not the best in the world.”
