“I saw this being used on a crafting yt video and was very intrigued so ordered a sample. The company were easy to deal with and responsive, I received my sample within a week, along with a money off voucher and cutting kit. I am very impressed with the product and Shadow Foam Ltd. I will be placing an order soon and will recommend the product to my crafting friends as it is versatile and easy to use especially for storing and organizing , which for crafters is a big issue.”

“I ordered a custom size piece of foam which arrived well packed and undamaged, having watched a few You Tube videos I found the foam easy to cut and peel, I needed to make 30 25mm circles and 60 slots from 50 to 75mm long in the foam to store my metric tap & die set then fit the foam into a wooden box which is why I ordered a specific size. I was very pleased with the material and the result”

“Everything arrived as ordered and in good time. However, the cutting guide/square was covered in scratches from use. I emailed to say that it was a used one and could I have a new one. No response. Still waiting. Unlikely to order anymore as first encounter does not look promising.”

“Simple, effective and quick (relatively...once you made one or two inserts). Even my Mom and sister were impressed...but they might have been humouring me. They both prefer the "pile it in" method of storage. The foam is murder on the blades, so get extras if you are doing more than the starter pack. 2 blades per 1000mm x 500mm sheet should be enough, 3 if you feel like splurging. They are cheep enough and other stores have them too. They are #11 scalpel blades for a #3 holder. Bought a pack of 100 blades and a "sharps" disposal container for them from a pedicure site for less than 20€. Definitely get a "sharps" container for the blades if you get more than the 5 in the starter pack. Or print your own, if you have a 3D printer. Also the 30mm foam is slightly thicker than 30mm. If you have drawers exactly 30mm deep with exactly 2mm clearance to the one above...you will need to find a way to shave a few mm from the bottom. Or use up the foam in deeper drawers. Still thinking about that.”

“after buying other foam and not being able to do a nice job to cut out the inserts for my tools I switched to shadowfoam and it's been great. only remark would be that the other foam looked more luxurious as it was more dense. the shadowfoam is a bit more coarse but still looks amazing and is very easy to work with.”
