“I didn't know Shadowfoam existed until I stumbled across them whilst looking for a new Makita case after the old one fell apart! I wanted something that would keep my tools protected and make the box feel more rigid rather than the flimsy plastic insert that comes with the case & Shadowfoam fits the bill perfectly! No fettling as the pieces come to cut to size already! I haven't actually cut round the tools as yet but they're quite happy & snug with one piece at the bottom of the case and one on top which holds the tools in place and stops them rattling around and the case feels more substantial too! Great tips from John on quietening those pesky catches and how to cut the foam to fit your tools into. Overall great products from Shadowfoam and will recommend to musician/builder/mechanic friends ! Ordered and within an hour the items were dispatched arriving within a day or so!”

“After following Shadow foam videos for a while, I decided to take the plunge and buy some, I highly recommend it especially if like most of us with our tools just Chuck them back into the tools box, this stuff is very good at keeping everything in place and uniform.”

“I have used Shadow Foam more than Once or Twice now and keep going back to you not only for the fantastic product it is, but also the easy way it can be used for protecting your valuables during transportation, I know that if I accidentally knock my case it will have No Effect on the item inside. 5 STAR PRODUCT in looks, use, and ease of use and it makes a simple job look so professional. “I have used Shadow foam many times in the past ( I play Airsoft so use it in boxes to keep my guns and magazines safe ) I must say I am getting better in cutting the shapes though rifles are a pain because of the shape and size. One thing I have learnt is preparation my last box I took my time and measured it all out and used masking tape and it turned out really well. This time to help secure the magazines in place I also use Velcro straps As shadow foam is quite dense a slit either side of the magazines and threaded the Velcro in and it holds the magazines in nicely they weigh a bit and would fall from the lid without. I also used the strap method for some pieces I don’t always carry so did not want to cut a space for. A scalpel is the best thing to cut the foam with I have tried with craft knives but the results are not as good. One thing I did find on the nurpol boxes is that buying the full box 3 sheets is expensive and you are most likely only going to use the lid and one of the main body pieces. I bought 2 lid pieces and cut 1 down to fit the main body I would of like it to be thicker but was not going to buy a full set and not use a piece If you read this review please sell the pieces individually all 3 pieces and as a set you are more likely to sell more especially for people that have more than one rifle The thicker main body section is more useful than the thinner piece especially if you are using the lid If you use the lid then using all 3 pieces tends to be too much because of the shape of the rifle with bits sticking up I ended up with using the lid Then the original egg shell foam as a protective layer then shadow foam at the bottom where my rifle is Again I ask you please sell as individual sheets and not as a lid and 2 main body sheets I can’t add a picture at this time as I don’t have the rifle at the time of writing this ( being upgraded)”
