“Well it took a while to get it had to Tex u twice finally I got it! Was not happy of what u sent me, 3” thick, I really wanted a piece that the wrenches hold. I paid 20.00 for something that I didn’t want to see. I c on your site u have a special 3/pieces & 5.99 each this is what I really wanted. I could of had 3 of these pieces of the cost that I paid for what I got. Not a way to attract new customers! Thanks anyway! Charlie”

Hi Charlie Sorry to hear you aren't happy with the sample you got from us. There was no note on there of any depth or colour preference so these are sent randomly just to give you an idea of the quality of the foam. I should mention though that we don't have any depth option that is 3" deep - our foam comes in 3 depths - 1.2", 2" and 2.75" but if you check out our Youtube channel we've lots of guides and ideas for layering up the foam to achieve greater depths. We did get your message about having been billed for the import of the sample - that's usual when importing goods and beyond our influence I'm sorry. But hopefully the tracking information you got helped you track your sample's progress from there... unfortunately it does take a few days to ship from the UK to the US, but I'm pleased it reached you OK. It's worth noting that the sample cost only a small amount, it was the shipping you selected to get it to you which cost more, again we do apologise but it's totally out of our hands. I do hope we are able to get some Shadow Foam to you soon so you can get your wrenches organised! Thanks for the feedback, all the best. Team Shadow Foam

“Shadow Foam is easy to use, providing you watch their video first. It holds tools, or other items, securely in draws or boxes. The disadvantage is that if you need a bigger sheet than the standard sizes it becomes expensive. Due to the material (polypropylene PE) most glues are not suitable. Either order the glue from Shadow Foam or something like Evo Stick. Customer Services are friendly and helpful. I had a problem with one delivery, and it was resolved on contacting them. One improvement would be, introduce larger sheets, but at a pro-rata price.”

“They have spammed me with offers and reviews despite me not signing up for any of them I have even asked them to remove my data and information under Article 17 of the GDPR "Under Article 17 of the UK GDPR individuals have the right to have personal data erased" Clearly, they are ignorant and disregard people's rights and information. Today I have been sent 2 more emails from them. So I would not recommend this company unless you wish to have your information and rights neglected and used in ways you do not want. The emails and requests to them will now be forwarded to the ICO to investigate.”

Just to mention though, we haven't intended to "spam you" at all, it's just not how we work. Nor are we ignorant to people's rights and information - rather, we pride ourselves on our levels of customer care and service. I should mention, you did sign up to our mailing list to receive a discount code on 14.11.23. This discount code was then redeemed by you. Then, as you were subscribed to the mailing list at that point, we subsequently sent you one more email on 24.11.23 which was our Black Friday offer. This was sent only to anyone opted in to our mailing list. Any other communications you may have received from us just related to the order you placed. Our opted into emails are always sent in a fully GSPR compliant way, and you are welcome to unsubscribe at any point, which we have now seen you've done. “Felt a tad pricy at £30 for a couple of bits of foam cut to the size of a Helfords toolbox but as the idea came from one of their YouTube videos fair enough. Took two weeks to arrive from ordering and was sent by Parcel Farce 24 so also felt that I'd overpaid for the delivery (no tracking info, random delivery day, time and if you were not to get to the door in time my local driver won't leave a card). Evri is cheaper and more reliable in these parts.”

Hi Paul Thanks so much for your feedback, and for your assurance you absolutely haven't paid anything for shipping as we offer free UK shipping on all our orders. Worryingly though we did email you tracking information when we shipped your order, sorry you didn't see that, it may be worth checking your spam or junk folders in case it dropped in there. To address your point on lead time, we do try and make it clear on the website that despatch time for certain items is longer than others as we often manufacture to order. In this case, you purchased a product with a 5-7 working day manufacture time and we shipped it out a day late due to seasonal demand for which I do apologise. “The best way to keep all tools organised and safe. The product is easy to fabricate. When a job is finished it it is a sure way to guarantee all tools are gathered up. Empty space.Tool missing. Over time this has saved a lot of cash replacing tools left on site or borrowed never to be returned before leaving site.”

“This was my first attempt and first draw out of my Snap On tool chest. See attached picture. Draw 1 of 6 I’m eventually going to do. The foam was easy to cut with the supplied cutting kit. Was surprised how after several cut out shapes that the blade lost its sharpness but there were plenty of spare blades to keep cutting. Overall it’s a great product and can't wait to start on Draw 2, which will include various Pliers and cutters etc.”
