Called SGS to request a fix for my central heating oil burner.SGS engineer visited early the next day .Accurate diagnosis made, new part fitted:my 20 year old burner made serviceable.

The overall rating I give is very poor-poor. Paul is a very good oil boiler engineer but should stated our boiler was too old to go on the boiler scheme. Gavin too is an excellent engineer and a very decent person. Mike, however, was very poor and completely screwed up our boiler leading to numerous call-outs from Gavin. Mike only came out to carry out a boiler inspection and service. I have three very severely disabled Sons who must be kept warm as two of them suffer from Muscular Dystrophy, over this weekend, we very nearly had to send them both into hospital for their own safety because of SGS, how that would have made us look in the eyes of the authorities doesn't bear thinking about. Gavin has been the hero, but this was all completely unnecessary and just highlights three different engineers, three different ways of thinking, leading to an absolute F**k up. Thank the Lord our boiler IS too old for your scheme, one can only imagine what screwups would have been waiting for us in the future.

Quoted for each job efficiently, agreed dates of attendance and time to complete. Kept to agreed time schedule and undertook additional work without fuss. All very polite and helpful and attendance to an unexpected emergency was outstanding. Happy to positively recommend.

Took two visits to completely fix my heating problem but very pleased with the punctually and work on both visits . Would recommend you to other people.

Your engineer was polite, professional and friendly. By asking questions he was able to identify problems with the tank and switching gear. He was able to arrange to order the necessary parts which should be fitted next week. Only downside is the high cost of fitting the parts.

Doesn’t get any better than this. Immediate reply to enquiry. Same day visit and temporary fix to keep things running. Liaised with Boiler manufacturer while I was out of country. Arranged parts. Installed. All working. Just brilliant and a rare experience in this day and age.

Excellent customer service with team endeavouring to get CH engineer to me as quickly as possible. The engineer was excellent, resolved the problem quickly, explained the cause clearly and answered all my questions in a helpful and friendly manner. Very impressed.

Engineer arrived at the agreed time. The problem with the underfloor heating was quickly identified: the pump was replaced promptly and all adjustments completed so that the heating was restored. Professional and prompt service. No cost estimate was requested, and the bill was a bit higher than anticipated.
