From start to end their service has been very professional. Great customer care, pricing is clear and thoroughly explained, and when my thermostat upgrade wasn't as straightforward as first thought the engineer figured out a solution and then got on with it - no fuss! Absolutely go with these guys, you won't regret it.

Great service installing our air-source heat pump. Any fears about the efficacy of this technology were allayed by discussions with Carl, and now we are toasty and warm in the middle of a wintry snap. The process of discussions, quoting, ordering, installing and follow up have all been done in very good time. Max and the other tradesmen were all very helpful.

Thank you so much for your prompt, quick and excellent service in finding my leak this morning. Having come down to a wet floor and then no electrics at 8.15am. I'm afraid panic set in. SGS were with me within the hour as they said and now have everything done. I would recommend them anytime.

I would like. To say bar knowing mr m phone the owner and founder and colin Tyrell this firm has gone above and byuond for myself and my elderly mum - I would personal like. Had a leak in my airing cupboard - water running over electrical bits, so very worrying, as I am aware that electricity and water do not mix and I am elderly and not in good health. Same day attendance by Charlie and mate - all sorted, thank you to the lovely lady who took my call who I felt understood my anxieties. So - happy customer relations, same day service, extra points for Charlie and his mate for taking off their shoes when they came in to the house. Price v reasonable. As the Yanks would say "what's not to like". Thank you SGS.

If you look back in the reviews you will see that I gave SGS 4 stars for installatiion. Lost one star for not following the manufacturers fitting requirements which would have invalidated the warranty for the boiler. Then a problem arises potentially relating to a pump with a 5 year warrenty. First, SGS wanted to charge for a call out. Apparently because it was out of warrany by one month. I expressed that I was not happy so they waived the call out fee and then told me I would have to pay the list price for a replacment pump £256 . I said I was not prepared to do so asking them to check the warranty. Came back with no it is 12 months. In the meantime I myself contact the manufacturer of the pump and yes a 5 year warranty. Sgs should replace the pump and get a replacment from their supplier. Not a hint of embaressment from SGS that a customer felt they had to check their responses.In fact I would say irritation. They blamed their supplier for misleading them thatnit was 12 months. Funny their quote itself referred to a five year waranty. They have very good reviews so prospective customers so my experience may be an aberation. However, check very carefully the warranties they provide and get written responses for your records for future use. Sadly, the protacted interaction I have has in merely checking out a simple warranty matter has left a rather bad taste. Its a shame.

On 16 Nov 22 in our main bathroom, we had a new heated towel rail and washbasin taps fitted by SGS in addition to have a noisy (water hammer) toilet recitifed. We were very impressed with the two plumbers who carried out the work. They completed all the jobs professionally and were most helpful and polite.

I have just had two major jobs done by SGS, namely the kitchen and bathroom. I cannot thank them enough for their excellent work. From solving the problem to sorting out the issue, making good the area of access and finally clearing up any mess leaving the property tidy. The SGS management, working team and reception are all outstanding. They are courteous, reliable and extremely professional. I highly recommend them. You are in safe hands.

The engineer Steve was on time , very polite and took a very short time to adjust our combi out put on heating side . We had heard so many boilers are not set up right for the amount of radiators , so we asked SGS to help and assess our boiler , we only have three big rads, the engineer has now fixed that . Bills reduced , good job … recommend this check for anyone who has a combi …

From start to finish SGS were absolutely brilliant. When they came to quote, they helped us with the decision on what was needed and were super knowledgeable. Installation team were very professional and very helpful. Customer service was second to none. Kept up to date all the way through, when there was a delay due our chimney issue, Cameron got our installation back in super quick. I was also really happy with the price of the wood burner and installation. Would happy recommend SGS.

We've used SGS a few times. Their quotes are quick and accurate, the quality of work is first class and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them for all relevant heating and electrical work. The most recent time was a new boiler and water tank, and the speed and quality is faultless.

Truly excellent service throughout our project to replace electric storage heaters with a new gas fired central heating system. The installation comprising 11 rooms was completed in 4 days & the engineers were extremely cooperative and when completed the premises were left clean & tidy. Pipe runs are inconspicuous & very little redecoration is necessary.

SGS installed a new boiler system and Hive setup in our home. From the onset, the team's professionalism was apparent, shoes off while carpet protectors were laid, courteous throughout and above all completed a neat and very tidy install within a day.
