“I have recently bought two vehicles from SG Petch - one brand new, one used. In both cases I dealt with Shannon Condron who was an exemplary sales person - helpful, informative and pleasant - not at all the stereotype of a car dealer, used or otherwise. I strongly recommend SG Petch adn Shannon.”

“When I switched from a manual Arona to an automatic, it was not highlighted that this would be a dual transmission. This was also not explained to me on car handover. I did ask what the + and - symbols were for but the sales assistant did not know. I made a mental note to read up on this when I got home. I realise now I should have asked for someone who did know but hindsight is a wonderful thing. On driving home the car did not feel right and a message came on the dash to say I should change to D mode for more economical driving. As I did not know about the different driving modes this caused a bit of a distraction which could have made me unsafe. Anyone selling a car or handing over a car should have full driver knowledge to enable an informed decision at point of purchase and a safe handover on collection”

“Bought a used 4year old Suzuki car for 14k and 2 days after the warranty the engine went bang. Split cylinder and melted other parts. S G Petch didn't want anything to do with it. Insurance wouldn't cover it as it was mechanical. Car had to be scrapped. Would not recommend dreadful aftercare customer service”

“I am now on to my 4 PCP car from SG Petch Darlington and every time the service just gets better. I have now used Ryan Robertson to find me the best deals for my last 2 cars and there is nothing this man can’t do. He takes on bored what am looking for and then just finds the perfect car for me, always giving more than one option and never makes you feel that you have to rush in to anything. I will be back in a couple of years to get my next car.”

“I have had cars with Hyundai SG Petch Skippers Lane for 4.5 years now and the service has always been brilliant. My recent experience with Gary Maughan getting a new car on finance was fantastic. Gary was very friendly, patient and helpful and kept me informed and up to date whilst waiting delivery of my new car. Gary was quick to answer any queries via phone or email and remains on hand to help with any queries following receipt of my car. Gary ensured my tax, v5 and driveway insurance was all sorted for me collecting the car and subsequently took care of signing my new car up to the service club which I have also used during my time with Hyundai at SG Petch. The whole process has been stress free with minimal admin! The customer service with the car services is also brilliant and uncomplicated.
