“We were helped considerably by Gary, our car salesman, during the purchase of our Kia Sportage.. The various options open to us, and the paper work required were all explained meticulously, from the initial interest through to the point of purchase.Our new vehicle is all the we hoped it would be.”

“Excellent service given could not have done more to help with an easy stress free purchase given i was 300 miles away from them, and did most of it through emails, price excellent and even taxed and full tank of fuel which was very nice and not expected. would buy from them again. “I bought an Abarth here. The car had a great many stone chips on it and I had to fight hard to get this remedied. Phone calls were often not returned. I was given a verbal quote for parking sensors of under £100. I had it done and had a bill for £156. I complained about this but basically nothing has been done and since my daughter bought an Abarth elsewhere (wise woman) I have heard nothing. I would not buy from them again”

“Just bought my second new qashqai from SG petch Durham. Wouldn’t go anywhere else as the customer service is 5 star. Faultless from the sales, collection and after sales. All of the staff especially Ray and Chelsea are extremely helpful and made my new car purchase stress free and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend SG petch Durham, and wouldn’t go anywhere else for my next new car.”

“Very smooth deal from start to finish. A few days post-purchase now and importantly everything is as it should be with the car. The Durham sales team are professional, helpful and friendly and I seem to have got exactly what I bargained for in the timescale I was promised. The Mazda aftercare arrangements appear to be impressively comprehensive. At this stage overall, I don't think I could have expected or wished for more.”

“My second KIA from S G Petch. My Sportage has been faultless over the two years of ownership. Great car extremely well put together extremely comfortable. Only changed baecause I wanted a Hybrid. Sales people friendly, honest, not shifty (unlike a lot of others) helpful & down to earth. Come service time they DO provide loan cars, or lifts, or collections of vehicle as promised (again unlike a lot of others) Bought a Kia Optima plug in Hybrid sportswagen and love it! Car is doing 261 MPG at the minute!! It does exactly 38 miles everytime on a full battery. Havent been to the filling station since I bought it. Anyone considering a Plug in Hybrid dont be put off they really do work!!”

“Well after a couple of incidents with our sales man. We got our new truck and the extra bits we wanted doing and I have to say the customer service from the owner and the garage manager was absolutely top class. I can’t recommend them enough.”

“I sometimes feel uncomfortable going into a garage as I don’t know a great deal about cars. I had searched nearly every garage in Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham for my new motor and come across some ‘interesting’ sales techniques! However, Rob was excellent and not hard sell or intimidating at all. He kept in touch with me every step of the way when purchasing my car. I will definitely be returning! Rob rocks!!”

“Problems from day one when I selected the car that I wished to purchase. There was a problem that the log book had been put in someone else's name so it had to be sent back to the DVLA. This then took 3 weeks to return. When I finally went to pick my car up I was told that there was another problem with documentation so I waited another two weeks for this. I was given a fleet car as a replacement from then but all this time there was a complete lack of communication.”
